Nah, the clay relief is a character from a manga story I'd like to do some time if my art ever gets good enough.

Ok, here's my final project from figure drawing this semester. It's me from ROM. Note: the actual size is about 6 feet tall and 3 1/4 feet wide.

Thanks. Since it was so big, I used a reference photo and a grid to get the proportions right. Took forever to draw and shade though. I probably put somewhere between 20-30 hours into it.

I'm going to break one of my core sets of beliefs and use a smiley. :-====
Stevenson's Vocabulary Word of the Week:

Foment: (verb) To excite or arouse, i.e. 2014's Week of Randomness hopes to foment some activity on the forums.

Stevenson's Latin Phrase of the Week:

Brutum Fulmen: (senseless thunderbolt) This phrase, coined by Pliny the elder, is used to refer to an empty threat.

Aw, looks like most of the art stuff I posted before got deleted cause I did uploads instead of direct links. Well, not a huge deal. Although I do want to repost that giant drawing I did last semester since it ties into something else I want to post. So anyway, here's that plus some things I did in Advanced Photoshop class this semester. Sorry if they stretch the page a bit.

Life Sized Self Potrait (from last semester)
Image

Photoshop photo combination project (titled Plurality of Personality)
Image

Photoshop picture to painting project (made a photo look like a painting)
Image

Photoshop digital painting project (recreation of that drawing I posted)

Actually, the drawing was required to be a self portrait as was the photo combination project and the photo to painting project. The last one didn't have to be but I already had the drawing to work from so it saved me the time of making a new drawing to work off of.
