The others climbed on Gyarados, who started swimming towards the dock. They arrived and everyone climbed off, then Silver recalled Gyarados.

"What the heck is goin on"? Pokchu asked. "Maybe we should follow". Shauni suggested. "Yeah. Let's go"! Pokchu opened the two doors, and they saw team Magma holding up the gym.

<span style='color:blue'>"MOM"!!! Pokchu shouted, as a Magma grunt was holding her hostage.</span>
"Heh, kid. You surrender the meteorite, and she survives". He said, threating his mom's life with a cool, sharp knife, at the neck.
<span style='color:blue'>Pokchu thought, and his mom winked. "GRAAAHHH!" Pokchu threw a dagger at the magma thug, and his head went flying off his body. "Mom!" She came running toward her son, but a Magma grunt shoved Pokchu to the ground. "No! The metorite fell into Mount chimney. Mount Chimney then began to bubble, and erupted. "AH! GO TRAVIS!" "FLYGOOON"! "MOM! COM'ON"! Pokchu's mom grabbed on, but only had time to get the tail. "I CAN'T HOLD ON"!"AHHHHH"! His mom had slipped from Travis's tail. Pokchu began to speed toward her, but she shouted: "Save yourself son...and avenge me..." The magma had eaten her, and was chasing Pokchu down. "Okay. TRAVIS! FLY AS FAST AS YOU CAN OUT OF HERE"! "FLYYYYGON"! Pokchu sped out and pulled a small golden capsule out of his pocket, and threw it at the Mountain. "This is for you mom...he threw it at Mt. Chimney, encircling it in a protective barrier, protecting Lavaridge, and killing on the Magma grunts inside. Pokchu then flew away, back to Littleroot.</span>
Pokchu woke up from ther flash-back. "I will never forgive them for doing that. They will always pay, until their organazation crumbles.

"Neiteio, use Quick Attack and kick up dust!"
The battle was on.</span>
After the tiring gym battle, Mat bought some supplies from the Poke` Mart and headed for the Pokemon Center. But instead, he ended up infront of a battle. "Hey! HEY!" Mat yelled and dropped the supplies to the floor.
He appeared infront of the pokemon and stopped their attacks with a very serious face. He caught Teruko's Eevee by the head and tried to endure the confusion attack.</span>

"Um... I'm gonna battle Lt.Surge now... AQnd I'd be happy to go first. Yes, I have gone crazy." Silver said, then turning around. "Or so they think." He mumbled.
"So, you're my first challenger? All right then, how many Pokemon?"
"Uh... three." Silver said, making sure the others didn't know about his 'plan' if it could be called that.
"Ok, go Magneton!"
"Go Flaafy!"
"Sonic Boom!"
"How did I know... Thunderbolt!"
Flaffy didn't attack Magneton, it hit the ground around it to shield itself from attack
"I've seen this strategy before. Eventually you're gonna try to make Magneton Self Destruct. I don't think so! Thunder!"
"I already have. Thunder Punch!"
Magneton released a large amount of Thunder which Flaffy used to charge for its attack. It Punched Magneton, who exploded from the impact.
"Magneton lost it defense temporarily from using that attack, and without their electric defenses they're highly combustable!"
"Fine, get technical. Go Electabuzz!"
"I'll use Treecko! Leaf Blade!"
"Thunder Punch!"
Treecko slammed the leaves at Electabuzz who ignored them and charged at Treecko, K.O'ing it.
"That didn't go as planned..."
"Ha! You got Lucky with your Flaffy, that's all! Now go Raichu!"
"Come on Pidgeot, you haven't failed me yet..."
"A bird Pokemon? Ha! Thunderbolt!"
"Mirror Move!"
Raichu used the Electric attack but Pidgeot reflected it back at Raichu.
"Body Slam!"
"Quick Attack."
Raichu charged at Pidgeot who got out of the way and hit Raichu.
"Play time is over! Thunder!"
"Sky Attack, hurry!"
While Pidgeot was charging for its powerful attack, Raichu sent the thunder straight at Pidgeot. It didn't have enough time to avoid, so it flew through the Thunder and K.O'd Raichu!
