Hi!
1. Do people call you Josh? Or ever have?
Not really, no. I've always gone by my full name.
2. How long did it take you to write your book?
Hmm... I think Guardian of The Stone took somewhere around 5 months, give or take a few weeks. But I've written lots of other books as well. On average, if I'm not in one of my rare bouts of writer's block or distracted by stuff like massive amounts of homework (which has happened way too often since I moved to AZ), I tend to write about 20-25 pages per week. Then, when a book is done, it takes another 1-3 weeks to edit before it's completely finished.

Jambo! Stevenson, can I borrow your Camerupt for a minute? I know I have my own, but I don't know if Ember would be able to BURN THE SAFARI ZONE TO THE GROUND all by herself. And maybe I could use that Magmar your brother gave me... and my Flygon knows Fire Blast...
Er, what I'm trying to say is, THE SAFARI ZONE SHOULD DIE. I found a Shiny Spinarak in there on Emerald Version! BUT IT RAN AWAY. Anywhere else in the universe Geico could've False Swiped it to death - heck, I could've used a Master Ball if I had to - but my first (and probably last) Shiny besides the Red Gyarados from G/S/C HAS TO BE IN THE SAFARI ZONE!!! *dies* I'm cursed...

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Well, I suppose so, but.....*has Yuna in black mage form burn down safari zone* BWAHAHAHAHA!
Stevenson's Vocabulary Word of the Week:
Foment: (verb) To excite or arouse, i.e. 2014's Week of Randomness hopes to foment some activity on the forums.
Stevenson's Latin Phrase of the Week:
Brutum Fulmen: (senseless thunderbolt) This phrase, coined by Pliny the elder, is used to refer to an empty threat.

Jambo! Neither have I, that's why this is even remotely a big deal... I have horrible luck with shinies (although I HAVE gotten the Pokerus before...) and the only one I've ever found was in the Safari Zone. Even if it WAS just a Spinarak, it was blue!

Jambo! Yeah, on Crystal. It was horribly 'sharked in the first place, but I got the Pokerus without a code! I think I got it from one of the trainers in the Mahogany gym, too...

Well, I've had luck with shinny in my Silver and Crystal. I've gotten 2 Shinny Ditto, 1 shinny Onix, 2 shinny Lickatoung (sp) and 1 shinny Magby from the Day Care in Crystal.
And I've gotten it once in my Saphire thought I wasn't paying attention til after Nurse Joy said it and I missed what she said.
