Professor how come it seems new pokemon are only discovered in either one or two at a time or about 100-150 at a time???
I was browsing Amazon the other day and I saw a robot uprising survival guide. Upon checking this guide I saw an audio CD version I smirked and laughed at the irony.

and how come everyone's pokemon levels seem to get stronger by how farther off you are from the beggining town
it's as if some cosmic balance wanted you to start in that town (the name escapes me)

"To become a gym leader you must first be an acomplished pok?mon trainer and then pass a test given by the Pok?mon League. After passing you sit down with them and work out why type of gym you would like to run. Then, when there's an opening for a new gym leader, they let you know. As for levels, the Pok?mon League sets standards for what level pok?mon should be used at each gym. Some gym leaders also keep pok?mon of a variety of levels and choose between them based on how many badges the challenger already has."

It would depend at least somewhat on the pok?mon's move list and, most of your team is still a tad higher, level wise, than Brendan and May's (not to mention that fully evolved pok?mon have better stats). Then when you add item usage to the mix... It's really not something I can just give you a number for."
