Ask the Cast: Pebble Version Edition

Post by Josiah »

Due to popular demand, I present Ask the Cast: Pebble Version Edition.

Simply ask any character in PV a question and they'll answer you. And I mean any character. Sure Brendan and May will be around but so will all your favorite trainers and random people. One question per post please.

Let me be the first to ask a question!

Brendon, what are the main pokemon you fight with?

Image "You probably won't notice this is the comic itself since Josiah tends to skim over the random battles and some of the trainer fights but I actually do have some favorites. When I'm going against a trainer I tend to use mew or combusken, since they're my strongest pok?mon, and go for a quick KO. If I'm fighting a random pok?mon I've already battled half a hundred times I'm more likely to use zigzagoon or wingull to get them some extra experience. Lately though, May has been bugging me to switch in my other pok?mon more so I may give it a try just to keep her quiet."

Hey May...what's it like with a deadbeat such as Brendon in tow all the time?

No offense, Brendon...

Hey, Norman, were dropped on your head as a child at all?
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Image "Be glad you asked that right after Brendan left the room. Anyway, I wouldn't call him a deadbeat. I mean he can get pretty annoying at times with all those stupid questions but he's a pretty good trainer when he wants to be and he pays for his share of the items we buy. Besides, I'd much rather be traveling with him than Xain."

They would never ever drop a child on its head. Besides, I was only hit in the head once and how was I supposed to know there was a bowling ball on top of that wobbly shelf?"

Hey Brendon, any chance you'll become a gym leader like your pop?

I mean, sure you've got a cool building and a bunch of underlings but all you really do is stand around waiting to lose to a bunch of trainers trying to earn their badges, where's the fun in that?"

Image "You know, I never really thought about that. It's a good question though. As long as I'm traveling through Hoenn I should probably keep an eye out for interesting careers. Of course, if all else fails I could always make some money by beating random trainers or maybe be one of those people who just stands around all day and says "This is the Pok?mart"."
