SC Guard Leader: How did this demi-gorgon get here? How did you three kill it?

 Artemis spoke up, "It just came out of nowhere and we managed to kill it with magic."

Very quietly, Aldar began to Meditate, putting his energies into Elemental Veil. The guards would surely soon notice who he was, but with the veil, he might be able to escape unharmed. He hoped the other two would have the sense to flee as well.

SC Guard Leader: What type of magic did you use to defeat it?

 Artemis answered him again. "I used Necromancy-", the guard cut her off. 

SC Guard Leader: What!? You're a Necromancer!?

 "Yeah...", Artemis answered slowly. 

SC Guard Leader: "How do we know you did not summon that beast yourself!?"

 "If I wanted to, I couldn't. I can only summon the dead, not the living. All I did was use my powers to help kill it.", Artemis replied. 

SC Guard Leader: Bah! The two are one if you look at it like that. I say you three were planning on causing trouble for the Scarlet Crusade. You're all under arrest!

((EDIT: Just wanted to mention that I'm not the only one who can control the SC guards.))

Aldar glanced up, grinning. "You know what? I don't think I really feel like going to any bloody prision...Elemental Veil!" he shouted. Then the Serephine spread out his wings and began to fly off.

"He's escaping! Shoot him down!" the Scarlet Crusade Guard Leader ordered. The troops began firing arrows from their crossbows and were, for some reason, astonished to find their projectiles come right back at them at twice the speed, bouncing off the Veil. Some of the missiles sunk into their arms and legs. "Cease fi-" the Guard Leader began, but stopped short. An arrow had just found its way through his head. But the meaning was clear enough. The troops had enough sense to stop firing, but instead turned their attention to the ShadowWing and the Dragonian, their swords at the ready...

Aldar waved at his former companions and settled in a nearby tree. Even though he was nearly drained of his energies, he began to Meditate upon Maelstrom of Elements...

During the commotion, one of the Scarlet Crusade guards took the opportunity to retreat from the battle and leave back to town.

 Artemis fought off the guards that were still able to attack her. She failed to notice one of the guards holding a club coming up behind her. He swung at the back of her head and she fell to the ground, unconsciouse. 

SC Guard: "We got one! The ShadowWing!"

Tikawa sighed roughly as he was repelling attacks with his staff. He noticed his "Comrade" fall to the ground beside him. He quickly turned, and sighed roughly once more. He thwacked one of the guards in the head, bent down, picked Artemis up, and Went to the air.

The Scarlet Crusade guards turned their crossbows to the Dragonian, taking aim...

Aldar cursed. He needed only a minute more to finish he meditation. But he was in luck.

The mistake the guards made was that they hesitated. They didn't want another fiasco like before, and settled to fire one arrow to test and see if there was any protection around their foe. The missile was fired, missing Artemis' head by an inch. A cheer rose and they all took aim again.

Fortunately, the pause was long enough for the enchantment. "Maelstrom of Elements!" he shouted. A blur of red, blue, white, and yellow made its way towards the guards, cutting down trees in its path. Some of these fell upon the guards, who were frozen in fear. Then it continued to tear up the troops, ripping apart their bodies limb from limb. Then, after decimating all but four soilders, it vanished. 

The remaining guards ran for it.

Aldar flew over alongside Tikawa. "I'm out of...energy...if there's any...fighting to be...done it'll have...to be done...by you..." the Serephine said, gasping for breath in between. "I've got...a hut near...the middle...of the...forest...we should...make our way...to there..."

Tikawa glared slightly at Aldar.

"Fine... I'll drop the girl off, heal her wounds... then I'm gone... You got it?"

Aldar looked at him, and for a moment a look of disgust passed his face. Then was stone-faced and cold. "Fine. Follow me." he said, having regained his breath.

"Look... I stepped out of my own House today, Hoping nothing likke this would happen. Next thing I know, I'm jumped by a Demon, Assaulted by Guards, and now I'm following someone I don't even know to their house."

((For our first Crusade Leader, Dethrohan of Paineel, we'll use Dark Red text. Note: I am the only one who can control Dethrohan.))

 Dethrohan sat upon his thrown, waiting for any reports to come in. Crusade activity had been slow the past few days. Suddenly, a crusade guard burst through the doors and half-ran, half-walked up to Dethrohan. 

SC Guard: Sir, we encountered three Resistance members in the forest. They are powerful, even managed to defeat a demi-gorgon. We tried to arrest them but they had powerful magic to aid them. What should we do, Sir?

 Dethrohan pondered on this little problem. "Take as many men as you think you'll need and track them down. Capture them and bring them to me.", he said. 

SC Guard: Yes, Sir!

"It's down there." Aldar said, pointing at a small wooden house in a clearing. He began to fly down there and landed in front of his hut.

The new SC Guard Leader took three battallions of SC guards and headed back to the forest. "How're we ever going to find them in all of this?", one guard asked. "I have an idea. We're going to set the forest ablaze. If we make them come to us, we can easily capture them.", replied the new SC Guard Leader. All of his men grinned at his idea.

Tikawa nodded, and flew down to Aldar's place. He lays Artemis down on the bed, and holds his hand over her head, beginning to heal her wound. Whenever he's done, he turns to the door, opens it.

"Good day... GOod luck with life..."

He walks outside, without a goodbye. He closes the door, and starts walking away, sighing softly.
