((Um, funny how you should mention that... There is 1 way to heal Fenix and that's if it is hit by a fire attack while in flame mode. Should of posted yesterday before you could post your last post. Though it still has overheat left for cancleing Flame Mode.))

"I have one more shot. If this doesn't do it, then it's over." said Neo to himself. Neo crossed his fingers. Fenix didn't look too well, though the last attack aginst it didn't do much.

Metalmorph could sence that Neo's arua was turning back to normal. "Well that good. It means either Neo has lost or something to end it for him is near. I would hate for his arua to have darkened more." said Metalmorp to himself.

"One last shot. Use Overheat-Cancle!" Fenix didn't look like it heard it but sure enough it's flames shot out in all directions. Since it was close to the ground the flames that hit the ground rushed out fueling the flames that went straight. Arco Iris didn't look like it could move. Fenix stagered for a moment. It didn't look like it would make it. The flames reached Arco Iris. Neo prayed and crossed his fingers.

(Well can't complain about god modding. The broken light hit and Fenix didn't get stronger all of the sudden...))

((All right, since I probably won't be able to get on after this, I'm just gonna finish this right here, right now.

And yes, I can complain about god-moding, because Broken Light is a relatively powerful attack. It would have easily KO'd a monster with that amount of HP. But ya know what? That's just gonna balance it out...))

"...Fudge Crackers... I think this is the- wait! We've got one last chance, too! Arco, I KNOW you can do this, dive at it and use Reversed Rainbow!" With the last of its strength, Arco Iris used its defensive attack... but that wasn't the use Silver had planned for it. Far too weak to fly and attack at the same time, the parrot monster just threw itsel it its opponent, rainbow colors flying away from it in all directions. This countered out the flames flying at it, but as it got closer to Fenix, it did more than that. Now, the barrier was much stronger when it was small, as the power had to cover more ground when it was big. But at close range, it was capable of damaging opponents (*Pokes the attack's description*). It normally wouldn't do much, but when both monsters have possibly one hit point left, it would do more than enough. Hardly able to stay in the battle itself, Arco Iris lunged at its opponent, the close-ranged red streak of light ending the match by removing Fenix's remaining hit point.

Fenix returned to its card, its parrot-like opponent standing where it had fallen. For quite some time, Silver, Neo and the entire audience stood and stared in disbelief. "...I... lost? My Fenix was beaten by a cracker-eating PARROT?!"

"...You did it! Hah! I knew you could! YOUWONYOUWONYOUWONYOUWONYOUWON!!!" Silver shouted, running in to congratulate his parrot. Er, monster. However, it collapsed and returned to its card before long. "...Right. You just barely won. That was a great match, Neo. I didn't know you were that strong before."

((Yeah, I know that was, like, your strongest monster and you didn't want it to lose. But I was trying to prove that Silver had trained Arco Iris harder than any of his other monsters because he knew it had potential, despite its appearance. Lemme tell ya, it does NOT look threatening. Sorry about that, and good-bye for the week.))

((You said yourself that Broken Light was a weak beam of light. And how did it have the energy to creat a strong enough Reverse Rainbow? It could barily do Broken Light. Hum, I almost could be the winner here. Remeber Rebirt's other effect? If I really wanted to my other 2 monsters arn't ko'ed anymore. I was hopping to dig deeper into Neo's arua and my next match wouldn't be too long aginst Josiah due to him being alot stronger then both of us. Main reason why he would loose his next match. Thought I think Silver may cry out god-modding if I try literal interpatation of Rebirth. Rebirt can only be used once a day. And since Silver wasn't an allie in the battle, his monsters wouldn't be affected.

Rebirth- forms a large image of Fenix on the ground. Flames erupt from it damage enemy in it. Fully heals and restores Fenix and all allied monsters. Can only be used once per day and only when koed.

So what does Josiah say about this? Would Neo beable to use his other 2 monsters or will I somehow get what I was wanted to get into out someother way? Trust me, our match would be alot shorter then this. I'll be back tomorrow for a final answer. I can even finish the match easly if Josiah says so. Though it's been said not to make long term plans. I still can't help but see how Fenix could of been weakened soo fast afer Rebirt. It was fully healed and too much longer the first part before rebirth to weaken Fenix (even if I hadn't use it's one attack) and then it looses hp like crazy after with just afew attacks? I almost consider that abit god-moding myself. Sorry for the long post and almost sounding like Pokchu.))

(-steps in- You both want to win. Anyone can see that. One of you have to take a dive...a very deep dive just so we can continue. Please let's not have a vote so people singel people out -_-

Rebirth seems kinda....extreme. I don't think ROM battles are going to get right into Pokemon battles. Their battle came and went. The end. No more use of them.

My opinion and I'm sticking with it :))

((All right, hold it right there. I was letting you slide with Rebirth in the first place. If a monster's KO'd and it can't get up on its own, the judge calls the match over. The other two had already been deemed unable to fight, so you definitely wouldn't get to use them. If Fenix was KO'd, which it would have to be to use Rebirth, the match would have been declared over. Your other two monsters were already out of the fight, I don't know where you got the idea they'd be allowed to come back in.

And Fenix took most of the damage after Rebirth from Leggionare. Hello, legendary attack, no way to defend itself because it just completely restored all of its health, which is god-moding in the first place. Seriously, that attack is way over powered. Not only should it only affect Fenix because it's completely illogical that it restores all other monsters, but it shouldn't be able to restore all it's HP after being KO'd. I know pheonixes are famous for their ability to regenerate, but seriously, it just doesn't work in ROM. I could see it being more like a Revive in Pokemon -restoring half the HP when the monster (Pokemon)'s fainted- but completely restored every bit of HP on the team is way too powerful.

And the Broken Light thing. I said 'weak' meaning not at the attack's full power. It's still gonna be able to finish a monster that can barely stand. And I tried to make it clear throughout the whole match that Reversed Rainbow was easy to use, as in, you don't have to be strong to defend yourself.

Oh yeah, and Josiah really isn't THAT much stronger than Silver. Stronger, yes, but their match wouldn't be a complete mercy killing. That wouldn't make any sense at all; they've been training their monster together for who know how long, and they've had their monsters for the same amount of time. I don't see anywhere he could've gotten ahead to the point he'd be deemed as 'so much stronger'.))

((Ok. Even with rebirth I'd have to give Silver the victory since he did KO all three of Neo's monsters. After a monster has been returned to its card you can't use it again that round even if you did somehow manage to heal it. And Neo, sorry you had to lose but that's just the way things go. You put up a very good fight against Silver and showed everyone just how much you've improved since ROM 3 so try to be happy with that. Silver has been in the group a lot longer than you and has gone through a lot more so he's a bit stronger.

As for me, while I am the strongest, any of the other gamers could give me a pretty good fight at this point (except Jeff since he doesn't have any monsters). You and Opal were the only significantly weaker gamers in ROM 3 and you've both improved quite a lot since then as has David. So I couldn't totally slaughter anyone, although I would win in the end.))

((Finally over. What is the next battle anyway? *Looks way back...* David vs. Gold. Ok, I'll have to write this one. Should be able to finish it up in one or two posts. But right now I have to run. Promise I'll have the battle finished no later than monday night though.))

((Ok, ok. I will conseed. I did just happen to think of a diffrent way of doing the Dark Arua thing after my little rant. Sorry for all that.))

Neo left the field not in the best of moods. Metalmorph senced a sharp change in Neo's arua. "Dam he's doing it again. Got to stop him." Metalmorph left the rest of the group.

Meanwhile when Neo was out of sight he went in an all out rage, mainly aginst the wall out of sight of everyone. "Why did I loose to a dump parrot, why? How could I." *makes hole in wall* "He will pay for that." , Neo said in a tone of voice not his own. "He will pay dearly for that." Neo was about to go out when Metalmorph showed up. "Dam, he did it again. I don't know what is the root of this but his arua is almost dark and fimilar." Overhearing Neo, Metalmorph ran infrout of Neo.

"Get out of my way you patetic excuse for a monster. I must hurt Silver and make him pay."

"No you won't. I'm not letting you go any further."

"Then I'll just have to make you move. Go..."

Just then Silver walked in from the match just as Metalmorph punched Neo in the gut and sent him flying into a wall.

"Why did you do that for?" , cried Silver.

"It had to be done. No need to explain."

"Oh my head. What happened. Why does my gut hirt and why am I aginst the wall? And what happened to the fight?"

"Well, long story short, you darkened. As for the match, Silver here won it, though you put up one heck of a fight."

"I did? Well then, congratulations Silver for a good fight. Though I can't seem to remember much of the 3rd Monster battle."

Then footsteps and a voice could be heard down the hall around the corner.

"Um, hide me." , said Neo as he went behind Silver.

"Hey you 2? Have you seen Neo? I know he was just battleing you Silver."

"Oh, it's just you Crystal." Then Neo noticed Opal. "Gee, everyone is comming to see us :)"

"What a great match." *Josiah grinned as he waited for Silver and Neo to return to the seating area.* "Feels like it was going for weeks though."

"Don't be silly. It couldn't have been more than half an hour." *Virgo replied.*

"Well, I'd better get to the arena." *David rose.*

"Good luck!" *Opal called as he walked off.*

*David reached his assignment side of the battle field and pulled out his cards, studying them intently. He barely heard as the announcer called out his name. Looking up, he saw that his opponent had already arrived.*

((Sorry, I'll have to finish this tonight or tomorrow. Stupid internet problems...))

"Good luck!" *Opal called as he walked off.* "now to find my hero." She chuckled, running off to find Silver. She found him near Neo and Metalmorph. "SILVER! GOOD JOB!" She ran and glomped him to the floor.

"Oomph, I'd rather have a hand shake...or some anti-glomp spray." He moaned as Opal got off of him.

"Nice entry." neo joked as the other two rolled their eyes.

"Yeah well...just thing we had in our guild...so ready to watch David battle Gold?" Opal asked

"Sounds like a good idea." The four of them went into the stands

(Crsytals colour was aqua....wasn't it?)

((Now that my internet is working, I can start on this battle.))

*Back in the stands, Josiah and Virgo waited for the match to begin. Although with a bit less excitement than before. While Josiah did want to see how much David had improved, he doubted that the pesky Gold would be able to put up much of a fight.*

"Hi Gold. It's been a while." *David decided to be friendly, despite the fact that, in the dark world, Gold had tried to steal the Zodiac Sword from Josiah.*

"Yes it has." *Gold replied.* "But this time will be different!"

"Huh?"

"Every time I run into you guys you just defeat me! Ever since I came to this stupid world it's been loss, loss, loss and I'm tired of it! This time I'm going to defeat all of you and win this tournament!"

*David just rolled his eyes.* "Whatever. I summon Armegeddon!" *There was a flash of ligntning and the electric bird appeared in the arena.*

"Fine, then I'll use Armored Lizard!" *Armored Lizard matched its name quite well. It was a human sized green lizard clad in steel armor and holding a sword.* "Use Horizontal Slash!"

"Fly up and dodge it!" *Armegeddon easily evaded the attack despite the lizards impressive jumping skills.*

"So you want to play that way? Fine. Winged Evolution!" *Armored Lizard began to glow brightly. When the light faded, most of its armor was gone but two leathery wings had sprung from its back.* "Now fly up there and use Hundred Blades!"

*As the lizard took to the air, blade held high, David got an idea.* "Hey Gold, you do know that metal conducts electricity right? Armegeddon, use Sheet Lighting!" *Electrcity streaked across the sky, striking Armored Lizard's sword. By the time the attack ended, the singed lizard had enough and fell limply back to the ground before returning to its card.*

"One attack?!? That's not possible! Not without a type advantage! You can't KO an adult level monster that quickly!" *Gold war furious.*

"Adult?" *David frowned.* "Yeah, a good nova level can." *Seeing the confused look on Gold's face he continued.* "Wait... Don't tell me you didn't know about nova level... This will be easier than I thought."

((I'll finish it in my next post. I know I said monday but I didn't know my internet was going to die. Sorry.))

"So what if your monster is stronger! Go Rock Monster!" *Gold summoned a giant made entirely out of rocks.* "Now I have the type advantage! Stone Pillar!" *columns of rock shot out of the ground. Armegeddon was in the air and therefore not effected but Rock Monster jumped on one as it appeared and used it to raise itself level with the bird.* "Now, Granite Bash!" *Rock Monster jumped off the pillar, and smashed itself into Armegeddon then landed atop another pillar.*

"That was clever." *David admitted.* "Armegeddon, try a Gale Blast!" *The lightning bird screeched and was just about to launch the attack when Rock Monster smashed into it again. The pile of stone had barely landed before it jumped again, scoring another hit.* "Didn't think it would be so fast..." *David quickly realized that Aremegeddon couldn't take many more hits but Rock Monster wasn't giving it time to land a good attack.* "I have one last idea..." *He waited till right after another Granite Bash connected.* "Loki's Illusions now!" *A deep darkness settled over Rock Monster as it leapt from the pillar. Once more it crashed into Armegeddon, this time succeeding in knocking the bird out of the air. But, with the illusions clouding its vision, it missed the next pillar and also plummeted downward, shaking the entire area as it hit.*

"Rock Monster!" *Gold yelled as both his monster and Armegeddon returned to their cards.* "It's not over yet! I can use one more card! Go Crysite!"

"Supreme Golem!" *David also summoned a new monster.* "Go and get that..." *he stopped and frowned. Gold's final monster was nothing more than a single large crystal hovering in the air.* "What's that supposed to be?"

"Crysite, attack with Legionairre!"

"A legendary attack?!?" *David's eyes widened.* "Supreme Golem, Defense Wall! Now!!!" *A thick wall of stone rose around Supreme Golem just in time. The attack hit, shatting the stones, but the golem itself took little damage.* "Hurry, we have to smash it before it recovers! Use Bash & Smash!" *Going on appearances, David was guessing that, despite it's high attack power, Crysite lacked defense and movement. He hoped he was right.*

*Seeing that he didn't have time to get off another Legionairre, Gold went for a faster attack.* "Prism Focus! Keep doing it!" *Crysite fired blasts of raindow light at Supreme Golem which took the hits and kept right on running. While not a particularily fast monster, Supreme Golem made up for it with extremely good attack and defense.* "No!" *A huge fist stuck Crysite, smashing it into the ground. Unable to get away, the crystal monster was helpless before the rain of punches. Soon it returned to its card.* "No! I can't believe I lost again..." *Gold groaned.*

"Hey, you did a pretty good job. Especially with only adult level monsters." *David offered.* "Get them to nova and who knows how strong you'll be." *Gold nodded sullenly and walked off, leaving David to return a very battered Supreme Golem to its card before returning to the stands.*

((Ok, that one is done. Next battle, Josiah vs. Opal.))

Opal gazed at the battle, tightening her grip of her fist.

"Ready to go Opal?" Silver asked as Neo and Metalmorph were talking about something.

"Wha? Oh yeah...just thinking about...stuff." She rubbed her arm and followed Silver down the stairs. "I hope Lopa will obey me becuase I've been thinking of using her." Opal announced.

"Yeha yeah....WHA?" Silver did a double take. "But...you only used her once in our fun battles and she nearly attacked you if it wasn't for your Ram." Silver reminded

"Yeah but...if she knows she's against the worlds best trainer, she'll try to take him down...his monsters I mean." She gave an uncertain laugh.

"It's you're funeral." Silver joked as the stopped at the place where Opal had to depart.

"Well, I have to go. Wish me luck, no, wish for at least one win." She winked, giving Silver a good bye hug.

(If you don't mind I would like to have a win each then Opal use Lopa for last resource....)

Shauni smiled half heartly and leaned back in her seat, she wished she was going to fight Josiah at that moment, but allas Opal had won the pleasure.

She closed her eyes for a moment and began to consider some random thought when she was interupted by Yomikko tapping her shoulder
