Eh, I wasn't paying attention... I meant waiting. You notice how he just waits for us to come to him rather than getting himself involved?
And I wouldn't say ???dude is a definite no... he gave more of a reason to be able to join that just 'hay this is cool can i join plz?', but like MK said, he needs to be active, and like Simeon said, he needs to show us he's a decent roleplayer.
And indeed, you did use question marks. Now to get you to use them in your roleplay posts...
Remember, question marks and exclamation points can go inside quotes! Example of how it works-
"Can I join?" asked the non-n00b. (correct)
"cn i join" asked the very n00b, if he even asked. (You can't tell, there was no question mark indicating weather it was a question or not. Actually, it was completely incorrect since there was no punctuation at all... statements have commas and exclamations have, well, exclamation points.) Dang, I should apply for a teaching job at my school... not like they have any better options. Everyone's leaving, and they ain't gonna pay for decent teachers.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I have no idea... I think he's supposed to, like, meet up with the other NineTechs, but I'm really not sure... I've just been waiting for Simeon. He seems to know what he's doing here, and I don't wanna be the one to screw it up...

Look at this signature. Isn't it the funniest and most hilarious signature you've ever seen?
