*Kilth looked around at the weapons. He walked over to the sword and picked it up, dropping it. The hilt landed on his toe.*

 "Oww...." 

*he picked the sword up and put it back. He then picked up the spear and somehow spun it around expertly.*

 "Oooh... i like this one... " 

*He spun it once more, strapping it against his back.*

 "I've made my choice!"

"That sword."Satashi pointed at a sword which resembled Cloud's sword in Final Fantasy 7.

EDIT:Notes of the Master:As soon as you get your weapons, a plot event is coming,so son't do anything major. And just a suggestion, Shans, you wanna' be a bad guy since you're a disgruntled,angry dude?

"Huh..." Tim looked over his choices... maces, staves, nun chucks... yawn... the swords were tempting, but another weapon tickled his fancy (I'v always wanted to try saying that... *shot*)- a bow and arrow. He picked it up and fired an arrow, the arrow buzzing directly above Ezekiel's head- right where he was aiming. "Yo, this one's sweet... dawg." No, Tim isn't 'ghetto,' nor does he sound like it... words like 'dawg' just sound disturbing when he says them. Amazing what people think of as 'cool' these days...

"But I'm a cat..."

"Word, I'm goin' with this one." Tim aimed at several targets around the area, but didn't fire.

Spirn stared at the case-full of shining weapons. "I'll take the staff" said Spirn grabbing the staff out of the case.

The four boys looked at their black-furred, Lion-Morph guide.... as if they were waiting.

Ezekiel just straightened out his crimson overcoat and crossed his arms. "I'm quite happy with my Dragoon Spear..." he growled, glancing at the black and polished solid-iron spear strapped on his back.

"Ezekiel... I would suggest getting a closer range weapon," Koda urged, "That spear might not cut it in the long run alone..."

The lion-morph sighed, "Very well..." and bent down to pick up his selection: A pair of razor sharp, three-pronged Sai Daggers... and holstered them into his belt. Ezekiel faced Koda and bowed. "Thank you, Elder Koda."

"So, now that we all got weapons, yo, what do we do now?"

"Well... I'd suggest you each try to catch at least one Beast. Weapons really aren't enough around here..."

"In these wiggidy-whack card things?"

"Yes... whatever wiggidy whack means."

"Yo, how does a piece of paper hold a monster in it, dawg?"

"I'm a cat... and it's magic. You really aren't from around here, are you?"

"So what now?" Satashi said to Ezekiel.

"First of all, you must capture a Spirit Beast-" Koda began to explain, then a bell gonged in his shop. " Agh.. I have a customer, Ezekiel."

"Do you wish for me to educate these foreigners, Elder Koda?"

"Yes, please, Ezekiel. I have business to attend to... and be safe." and Koda dissapered into his shop.

Ezekiel just bowed then turned to the four confused boys.

"I know... this is all very difficult to understand, but Elder Koda has entrusted that I teach you at least some basic skills while you are here."

Ezekiel was only answered with silence.

"Very well... follow me."

"So... what are we doing back in the woods again?"

"Now that you have weapons... it's time for you four to learn how to capture Spirit Beasts." the black-furred lion-morph replied, leading the boys into a clearing with tall wild grasses, "And this area of the Rydar Woods is known to have some basic Child-level Spirit Beasts weak enough for humans to spar with."

"Oh? Umn... I sure hope THAT is not a 'Child!'" Satashi pointed frantically at the TigrisNoir (Black Tiger) behind Ezekiel.

Ezekiel was unfazed at the sight of a black furred tiger with flame-like stripes and a burning aura. "That's more like it..." he said pulling out a sai-dagger, "This is how you capture your first monster!"

The lion-morph charged into close combat with the TigrisNoir, weakening the flaming creature till it was near collapse. Then, Ezekiel pulled out one of the gray Spirit Beast Charm Cards from his crimson overcoat and threw it at the weaked creature. A flash of light... and a red colored card replaced the gray card Ezekiel had thrown. Ezekiel bent down to pick up the card, then stood up to examine his new Beast.

"TigrisNoir... Second Level Beast... Fire/Ground type... An adolescent monster in this area meant for First Level Beasts?"

The boys just gulped.

"I seriously doubt you four will find Second Level creatures here... our encounter with a TigrisNoir was pure coincedence. The First Level Form of TigrisNoir is KoalKitty... a common First Level or Child-level Beast in these parts."

"So.. are we splitting up?"

"No... We're staying together... I want to make sure you boys don't get hurt when facing a Beast at close range... Even Child-level Beasts can still be handfulls when you face them without a Beast of your own..."

".. And if we have one of our own?"

"Then... This is how you summon one to battle at your side." Ezekiel answered, pullng a blue card from his overcoat pocket. He then faced the grass and held out the card, "COME, TEKEALON!"

The card glowed in Ezekiel's hand then vanished in a bright flash, a huge blue chineese dragon without wings or legs hovering in front and above the lion-morph who summoned it.

"Tekealon is an example of an Adult-level or Third Level Beast. He was my first Beast when I found him as a Tikeh... I watched him grow as I trained him into a Tekeal... then into this mighty dragon you see before you..."

The boys seemed to be in awe of the mighty serpent... and Ezekiel was wondering if they were listening...

"Slumber, Tekealon!"

Tekealon let out a shrill roar and vaninshed into a flash of light... the innocent looking blue card had returned to Ezekiel's hand.

"Now... I'll explain more after you each capture your first beast, as well as supply you with more Spirit Beast Charms..."

The lion-morph then tucked his cards back into his overcoat pocket and began to wade into the tall grass, motioning for the boys to follow...

They spotted a bodyless ball of flame with a innocent face.

"This one is mine." Satashi said as he drew his sword wobbling a bit not being used to holding a real, heavy sword.

As Satashi wandered off to capture the flame ball, Tim spotted a monster and set out to catch it. It looked like a Puppy and was a deep purple color, flames emerging from the tip of his lion-like tail, his tiny paws and his pointed ears with two thin streams of fire continueing down his neck.

"What's with all these fire dudes, yo? I got digs on this dog, dawg!" Tim shouted as he fired an arrow at the young puppy. It struck him in the leg, and the fire beast cried out in pain. And here's the pathetic part- Tim didn't have the guts to hurt it further. Rather than attacking it, he attached a rope to the end of an arrow and fired it, the rope wrapping around the creature's leg and tripping it. He threw a card, and, since it was such a low-leveled creature, captured the puppy. "Word! I caught the dog, dawg! Its name's Flame Puppy... aw... I mean, word, dog, yo, shizzle fo-nizzle!"

"Ok,here I go!"Satashi screemed.He ran up to it hitting it with the side of the sword, not wanting to hurt it and while it was distracted he threw a card and captured it. "Little Fireball?" Satashi said as he looked at the card.

Little Fireball-1/3-Fire-Little Flame,Fire Wave,Innocent Look.

A white bird with purple stripes came swooping down. "*sigh* might as well" said Spirn grabbing his staff, the bird started to gain speed, when it was about 1 metre away Spirn struk the bird and it fell to the ground. "too easy" said Spirn throwing the card at the bird and capturing it.

"Now can we get out of this place" asked Spirn

*A Hobbit-sized skeleton warrior walks up to Kilth and does a menacing growl. Kilth just screams and drops his spear, as it somehow lands and his the Skeleton in the head, knocking it over.*

"Woh... that actually worked!"

*He pulls out the card and throws it at the skeleton. Kilth starts to dance, because he successfully captured his first monster. He picked the card up and examined it.*

Skelm - 1 / 3 - Dark/Steel - Dark Sword, Dark Shield, Haunting Spirits

*Kilth walked over to the group, holding the card in his hand, and placing his spear back on to his back.*

So, when do we move?

"So how do we heal are injured monsters? I'm sure they're at least hurt from us attacking them." Satashi asked.

"We heal them by using shrines to not only heal them but purify them as well." Ezekial answered.

"Purify?"

"Yes,for monsters will not obey you until they're purified. Come and follow me to the shrine which is not far in this forest." Ezekial said as he motioned them to follow.

(Notice how I say forest and not village.Oh and after we heal a boss battle will happen.Sooo did you figure out a boss yet?)
