Hi! Just about every game will go down in price eventually (at least for a while), with most Nintendo titles being a notable exception. That said, quite a lot of games do disappear within a few months. Sure games like Final Fantasy and Metal Gear will be around for a while but games outside of major franchises usually do relatively small print runs and, unless the game gets reissued as a greatest hit, once those discs are gone, that's it. So yeah, that's another reason I often buy games when they're released.

I hate it when I buy a game on release, dont play it then a month later its like half price and I've still not played it.

I'm looking forward to the new fire Emblem game though on 3ds, that does look boss.

Hi! That can be annoying, but sometimes in a month the game is just gone so you never know. Besides, I like to support game companies I like, so it's not like the money is going to waste.

Those new Amiibos they announced are cool. Hopefully availability won't be as bad. At very least, I really want a yarn Yoshi.

I'll say... just stood in line for an hour waiting to pre-order Ness...

I was third in line, but Gamestop decided to do this one as a "Web In Store" so everything had to go through their site which couldn't handle the traffic.

Sooo yeah really hoping the yarn Yoshi isn't this much of a headache.

Hi! Sadly, I doubt I'll be getting a Ness, unless I somehow manage to find one in store. I would have liked pre-order a Greninja, but that didn't work out. On the plus side, I managed to find a reasonably priced Toad on ebay.

I want most of the fire emblem ones as well, I'd like Robin more if she was a girl, just because that would be MY Robin LOL.

I got the one I wanted from the original run (Peach) and only really want a Dedede and Megaman at this point. But those are unlikely to come to me.

Hi! I'd love a Dedede and Meta Knight but they're rare and outside of my ebay price range. Mega Man, on the other hand, isn't that hard to find. Most Gamestops I've been to lately have him, and he doesn't cost all that much above retail on ebay.

It bugs me there are now two versions of Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Peach technically and such a limited run on the rest of the others. I mean, there out of stock before there even released.

Hi! You would think Nintendo would realize by now that they should increase their production runs and do second shipments of more figures. That said, at this point, I think part of the problem with the newer figures (like Ness, Greninja, etc.) is that so many people think Amiibos will be rare and in high demand that there's a lot of scalpers grabbing as many as they can just to sell on ebay. Though that type of thing is likely to collapse eventually. If too many of the same Amiibo end up on ebay, prices tank, eventually making it unprofitable.
