Playing for keeps when the price on the line is rather much. You do realize that if you die in the game you die in real life, right? If someone you voted for died and was innocent, how would that make you feel.

To clarify, yes the doctor can choose to save him/her self. We've never made a ruling on whether the Mafia can commit suicide. And unless the person both knew who the doctor was, and the doctor was ok with throwing the game, the chance of randomly getting saved would be pretty slim. Sure it'd pay off big time if it worked, but more likely you'd just look like an idiot.

After inspecting everyone's arguments for or against everyone else, I think I'll side with Poik here and vote for Shauni. She seems to be acting rather defensive, and those who are quickest to defend themselves when accused are often the most guilty.
(Also, there's no rule against the mafia choosing to off themselves? That would be interesting story-wise. The mafia was just too torn by the crimes they had committed over their mafia career that they decided to end their reign of terror with one last kill; themselves. *Dun dun DUN* Very nice. Quite good...)

I'm voted out, which is good, but just by some miracle I'm allowed to stay in, I forfeit. I go on holiday on Monday and I won't have internet access for two weeks, so I don't want to hold up the game.

After some deliberation, the remaining players decided to toss Shauni into the Forest of Very Hungry Monsters. However, the death game didn't end. Poik and Stevenson eventually fell victim to various deadly areas while searching for an exit, leaving Poison to laugh as she logged out.
I was a horrible spy. I knew Poik was innocent and shauni was the doctor and of course Stevenson's name was clear and we STILL didn't win. I'm sorry Cheesey. If only I had voted for Poison in round one ;_;
Well, I'm up for another game if enough people stick around! Since shauni's gonna be out for a while though we're down a person...
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate." Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.
I honestly have no idea how I won that game. I consider myself to be horrible at acting inconspicuous in these kind of situations, therefore, I try as hard as I can to act innocent...which, to me, is not very subtle at all. I guess I'm lucky my horrible long term memory made it so I got in right at the end of each round to throw it one way or another.
Either way, being the mafia is a bit nerve-wracking for me, though winning is quite sweet. Up for a new round if I can get myself to remember to check back more often.
(And sorry to everyone that I killed "IRL" that round. No hard feelings. Ha ha ha- Oh wait, you're all dead. Never mind. Ha ha.)
