Yeah, I now this club's totally dead, we don't really have an active member listing, and, to be totally honest, I just don't have time to be reading through new comics anyway. But I found this comic and thought I'd share it.
The Princess.
Art's pretty good, like a Sunday Paper comic strip, but it changes style a lot and that's a bit of a put off. But the comic itself...
It's probably not what you're expecting.
I guess it's a little... preachy, at times. In some ways that's a flaw, but the message is important and it hardly gets any media attention at all so I'll give it a little bit of a break. It also kinda strikes me as unrealistic that there are so many characters that fall outside of the normal societal roles... though, I guess that's really just in contrast with how few there are that do. Which is another flaw in some ways. But... overall, this comic's a good read! Plus, it isn't all social commentary. There's plenty of silly little jokes, too.
Ah, the story? It's about "Princess" Sarah... she's just your normal transgender kid is all.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Really enjoying this so far. With all of the straight culture stuff, it's nice to every once and a while see something that's disproportionately LGBTQ. Yeah, it's not realistic, but it's nice. Comic has a lot of good messages, too.
May the Triforce be with you.

I mean, "unrealistic" isn't even really fair - given that just about 5% of the population is LGBTSomethingorother, in an urban area, you're likely to have a pretty large group. None of the people or relationships depicted are specifically outside of reality, the way issues are dealt with is pretty spot-on, it's just that there's an under-representation of the non-LGBT population. And it really bothers me that, of very very few prominent straight/"Normal" people, two of them are children in an abusive, broken family. There's a difference between saying "Gay/Trans people aren't bad, they're just like everyone else" and "Gay/Trans people are great, everyone else is a bigot". Not that the comic is that bad, just... more normal, well-adjusted straight people would've been good. In a community large enough to have this many LGBT people, there would be a lot more non-LGBT people and they would certainly be interacting with the LGBT cast one way or another.
But really, the comic is good overall. Give it a try, peoples.

I gave it a try, and it's a good read, but it probably isn't going in to my rotation. No offense, just not really in my webcomics wheelhouse, as it were.

Oh, I saw this a few months ago somewhere. I have had it in my favorites for a while. Thanks for reminding me to check up on it.
It's cute, has a pretty good story, and the art is interesting. Plus, the whole thing gives me a warm feeling in my tummy. I like it.

Re: The Princess
I gave this a read and found it quite cute, somewhat preachy, and a little uncomfortable. Whereas you are right there should be more well adjusted straight people, it's entirely possible for a community to be overrun with those who aren't well adjusted, and those are the kinds of people that tend to be the most in-your-face. So it may not be realistic because of it, but it's a fairly realistic view from the viewpoint of those who have been forced to deal with some of the personalities in the comic. After a while of dealing with the not well adjusted, sometimes you forget how many people are well adjusted. That, and completely well adjusted people don't always make for good narrative.
Mostly, it's uncomfortable for me because of how many friends I have in situations that are at least in part represented here.
