Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
Today was career fair at school. I wore my suit around and that was pretty cool. I talked to companies and handed out resumes and got some free stuff, including a pen that has a USB memory stick in it. I also had to do a marching band thing with no time to switch out of my suit. So that was pretty fun. And by pretty fun I mean I shouted "EATS BABIES" and "PUNCHES CRIPPLES" while wearing a suit all while dancing like a fool. Yay marching band!
This week is hectic. Homecoming is this weekend! Exciting! Nervewracking! SO MUCH TO DO BETWEEN NOW AND THEN!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
'Lo, peeps; sorry I haven't been terribly active as of late. Between college work and my own projects it's been difficult to find time to post. I'm turning 20 tomorrow, and the house feels really weird now that my younger sister moved to Waterloo to attend university, leaving me as the last of my siblings still living with my parents. I grew up with Asperger's Syndrome, so my sister and my stepbrothers ended up being the ones that taught me how to interact with human beings on a regular basis, and now that they're gone I don't really have anybody to do stuff with. I've been going to college for over a year, but my own introversion has meant that I haven't really made any new friends. I'm hoping joining a few clubs will give me some people to hang out with besides the few close friends I already have.
Anyways, I've been doing more Let's Play-type stuff if anyone is interested. I added the link for my YouTube videos to my signature in order to pimp out my channel every time that I post. I'm not trying to come off as desperate for views or anything; I just figured I'd share my stuff here since I've been coming to these forums for more than six and-a-half years.

Ahoy! It's Talk like a Pirate Day and I'M STILL BITTER ABOUT IT.
Because my mother couldn't hold off for just eight more days so I could've had an awesome birthday, too...

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! I'm thinking I'll make ginger snaps for the sukkot party tomorrow. Except I'll be replacing the normal sweetener with Japanese yuzu (a type of citrus) honey. I expect great results.

Moi,
Ugh...I think I'm getting a cold. Not fun.
So, not much really going on in my life. School, homework, fire drills (so many fire drills), and hot and humid weather...the usual.
Also, at school I've been trying to find the time to work on a little painting. Nothing much, just a try at a landscape.
Yeah...I'm not very talkative since it's so humid out. I think I'll go and take a nap or something.
Stay radical people! Peace off!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hey.
This weekend was homecoming! I got to meet tons of alums who were all really excited to meet me, so that was wicked awesome. Then we all hung out and the alums were really loud so we got busted by the cops but the average age at the party was like 24 so the cops were like "k just be a little quieter bye."
Homecoming also meant that my ex was in town for the weekend. And, naturally, her being in town inevitably means I'm going to have some sort of stupid experience.
This weekends experience included:
Her and I actually chatting one-on-one for like 45 minutes and everything seeming okay between us.
Her not acknowledging my existence at the football game the next day.
Her walking away from any conversation that I enter that had her in it, even if I never addressed her directly.
Her acting like normal with me the next morning when there were a handful of people chilling in Haus.
Alright, I really need to stop putting off starting the ridiculous amount of work I have to do. Ta!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I finally managed to get a group together for a water park trip. Despite getting stuck in the longest traffic jam I've ever seen (apparently an 18 wheeler crashed, pretty much blocking the whole highway) for over an hour on the way there, it was a really fun day.

Y'ello.
I decided to visit old stomping grounds today, so that naturally includes the first real community I was a part of. I hope y'all have been doing well and such. Not really sure what else to say. I'm still pretty terrible at this stuff. D:

Well, you could always tell us what you've been doing for the last, I don't know, SIX YEARS? I am very disappointed in you, young man! Leaving home one day, so suddenly, without so much as a goodbye! And now here you are, showing back up at my doorstep like nothing's happened? I was so worried! What if something terrible happened to you?! The Internet can be such a dangerous place for someone to wander around all alone!
Well no more of that! You're grounded, mister. To your room, now! I want you to sit and think about what you've done!
...Ok but seriously it's good to see you, glad you actually decided to post this time.

Heh. Well I had planned on it when you messaged me that one time, I guess I just never really got around to it. (Yes I know, I know that was months ago.) Figured today was as good a day as any as I was visiting another community I had been away from for years. But really I don't have much to say about the last 6 years or so. Life's been pretty uneventful overall.

Hey.
I met Bill Nye the Science Guy. And took a selfie with him.
The rest of my life is meaningless now.

You see that Saber just took a selfie with freaking Bill Nye the Science Guy, right? And she's only been gone for like four days. You've got six years worth of impressing to do, pal! If you don't have a story, I will make one up. And it'll probably involve velociraptors. And maybe penguins. Is that what you want?
In other news, Firefox spell check thinks "velociraptors" should be "velocipedes".

Hola.
Does it really count as a selfie if it is with another person?
But yeah I don't have any exciting meeting celebrities stories, sorry. Most exciting thing to happen was that the Blackhawks won two Stanley Cups; but that doesn't really involve me outside of being a fan of the team.
I suppose I could mention that I went to Disney World a few years ago; but I ended up being sick most of the time so it wasn't very much fun at all. ):

Moi,
And hello there!...person I've heard about but I don't believe I've ever met on here! Nice to meet ya!
My gosh...Saber. I'm so jealous of you right now. That's so awesome. I wish I could be cool like you.
In other news, high school senior life! Projects! Python coding! Yeah!
Something of interest though...I went on a tour of another college yesterday. It looked pretty cool, partly because it's the same college both of my parents went to. The main reason I thought it was cool was that they have so many clubs there. They have a sitting club, a hula hoop club, and a whole bunch of other clubs. While on the tour, we saw people walking around in camo with nerf guns. Apperently there was a nerf gun war going on in the humans vs. zombies club. Also, there's a Larping club. A freaking Larping club. This place makes the nerd in me so happy.
So yeah...stuff happened. Fun was had. It was kind of hot out. Not much else of note.
Anyway, I think it's about time that I got some lunch so...

Hi! Wow Jeff, it's been years. Great to see you again! How's life, the universe, and everything?
On my side, I just got back from a trip to Universal Islands of Adventure with some friends. Rides were ridden, butterbeer was drunk, and fun was had.
