Hey.
I head back to school this Saturday. Buying my own furniture for the first time, so that should be interesting. And/or scary. And/or oh goodness growing up.

Hi! Otakon was awesome! My first full day back in Florida though... Today has sucked on a number of levels. One of which is that there's an internet outage here, and they have no idea when it will be fixed. I have other ways to get on, but only with some devices and the connection speeds are lousy. Anyway, I can't talk much right now (tons of work to do this week), just wanted to let everyone know that I did make it back ok.

I have added you back, shauni. And we should totally hang out in Animal Crossing.
Colly and Puyon both have it too, and if all else fails, the four of us can at least hang out.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Moi,
So, while a bunch of you guys were off at Otakon, I've been reliving my childhood, as I've pointed out in the Games section. Myst is the game in question, and since I currently have no means of playing it, I've been watching a bunch of Let's Plays of Myst and the other games in the Myst series. You could say I've become slightly obsessed (not that I wasn't obsessed when I was five or six when I watched my dad play through parts of the first game).
Well...the other day, I found something out that made me slightly peeved. A bit. Possibly.
For a while now, there has been a con/convention/whatever you kids call them for Myst that goes on every year. It's called Mysterium. It was last held on August 1-4 and, care to guess where it was held? Right in my hometown. Seriously. I could have rode my bike downtown and have seen it. Heck, I could have walked down there. Only problem is that, at that time, I was just getting back into Myst. I probably was just figuring out that there were other games in the Myst series at that time.
So, yeah. A bit annoyed. And, unfortunately for me, the next time Mysterium comes around (next year in August, I think), I'll probably be heading off to college...also, it happens to be talking place all the way across the country in Washington state...so there's that too...
Anyway, enough of my rambling. I'm going to chill out for the rest of the night. Maybe do some spriting or something.
Stay radical people! Peace off!

that would be really cool, what time zone are you in? We gotta work out the best time we are all going to be available. Weekends would work best as I'm not in work. I'm in GMT or BST (until October 27), dependent on the time of year.I have added you back, shauni. And we should totally hang out in Animal Crossing.

Hi! I've only got one class left to prep for the coming semester, though it's going to require the most work of the bunch by far and I only got the textbook today. On the bright side, I was able to pretty much take yesterday off as a result so I finally got some unpacking done, met up with a friend for a bit, and saw Pacific Rim (which was awesome).
Now I just need to hope that I can get back to my place from work before that predicted heavy rain with flood warnings starts (yay for Florida weather

We're all EST. I believe we're five hours earlier than your time. So the best time would probably be afternoon or night where you are, which would be morning or afternoon where we are... unfortunately Colly and I typically work during the day on weekends. By the time we're back, it would be 10 or 11 pm for you... I mean, if we get night shifts (which happens occasionally) that could work.
Alternatively, what time are you usually done with work on weekdays? If you're done by like 7 your time, that's 2 for us, and that might work too.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi.
Well, back to school for me today. Only have one class on MWF but my other 3 are on TTH time frame, and I work today til 30 min before class. Will see how well that works out, might put my aviliabilty at 12:45 instead of 1p, but time will tell on that.
Have 30 hours of classes left but with what I have left, I can really only manage 12 hours each semester so I still have 3 semesters to go, so next fall I'll finally graduate, only to try and get into grad school in the spring.
And yes, I'm still alive guys :)

Hi! Nice to hear from you, Neo!
It's the first day of classes for me too, though as a teacher, of course. Not much to say about that though, it'll be a couple of weeks before I really start to get a feel for how the semester will go.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
I'll be away the weekend after next... on Sunday anyway. We're leaving late Saturday night, so as long as I get back from work at the usual time that would be fine.
Gotta find out what Colly's schedule is like that day though. Oh, do you have Puyon registered? Well, I guess you wouldn't, since she never posted her code here! But she's 0705 - 2521 - 8236. I'll tell her to add you back.

You actually flashed up last night as online via an orange light on my 3DS status, but I had no idea how to message you while playing.

Oh... we need to be "Best Friends" In Animal Crossing first. Then, if I'm playing AC, you can message me through that. To do that, we just need to meet up in game once. Which we should be able to do Thursday; I'm off, and you play for a little while at night, right? I'll just have to keep an eye out to see when you're online.

Okay, I'll try being online Thursday night but I might be going out, but I should be back by 11. If I see you flash online I'll open my gate and try to connect to you, be aware though my internet has been playing up. I played Journey connected all the way through with someone online but tried to viste a friend on AC later that evening and kept getting a connection error.
