Choose Your Show

Post by Josiah »

We could use some more random discussion topics around here.

So, if you could be a contestant on any game or reality show, which one would you choose and why? I'll post my answer in a day or two (assuming other people post here as well).

I Survived a Japanese Game Show. Trip to Japan AND a chance at free money? Totally in! ...Shame they don't make it anymore...

Human Tetris maybe? I'd be bad at it, but it seems like fun at least.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Speaking of free trips, my top choice would be The Amazing Race. It's long (assuming you don't get eliminated), you get free trips to lots of different countries, and you get to do all sorts of cool (and some not so cool) stuff along the way. As a second choice, I was watching The Great Escape last night and that looked like fun as well. I mean, you get to evade guards and steal stuff while solving puzzles, how could it not be? Of course, both of those shows require a partner. Not sure who I'd want to pair up with... My brother, maybe?

Portal Panic of course. But the next best thing would be Deal or No Deal.

Probably Jeopardy!. I'm one of those people that loves trivia and, as most of my friends say, I apparently would do really well on a show like it. What, with my knowledge of many random things that don't really matter, and may or may not be interesting.

Mm, definitely Jeopardy or Cash Cab or something in that wheelhouse.

I've often wondered how I'd do on a quiz show. I know a whole lot of random stuff, but I've never considered it a specialty.

Well I'm not such an egomaniac that I think I'd definitely win or anything, but I'd probably do better on those shows than Amazing Race or Survivor or the like.
