"Well, if it fails we can always try again." Josiah nodded to Mandi. "Why don't you get your spell ready and then we open the door and go in acting friendly. I'll get close to Poik and when I give the signal I'll go for his watch and you can try and freeze Cheez."

Team SSSS
Assuming Saber follows, you all quickly find a clearing in the jungle, where you find Stevenson in a small cage suspended over a flame. "Oh! Hey guys. Glad you showed up. I was getting worried there, for a second. I don't know who nabbed me, but...I was given something to read." He somehow extracts a packet of paper from his wing.
"For this first reward challenge, your tribe must gather three hidden chicken cages in this jungle. Your reward will be another bird, which...I suggest you eat." Stevenson looks nonplussed. "Your time limit is an hour."
{{They're just hidden in the jungle, you can find them wherever, or have some posts of looking before finding them if you want to get really real. Just so you're not waiting for me to post that you find them.}}

Re: Forum Wars: The Pebble Version Forums Roleplay
"Did I hear someone say CHICKEN CAGES? Because I thought I heard someone say CHICKEN CAGES." Silver did not wait for Simeon or Saber to propose splitting up, or planning, or anything of the sort; he was off at the speed of sound without a second thought, determined to complete this quest on his own if necessary.
Because his feathered cousin's well-being was at stake? Well, had the thought crossed his mind, that certainly would have been a factor. But all he could think of was his poor chickens, stranded alone for so long. Why, he didn't even realize that the script had only said chicken cages, never specifying whether there were any chickens inside of them or not...
He flew high above the trees and scanned the jungle below, hoping his Keen Eyes would be enough to spot the metal cages against the rustling green expanse. Unfortunately, the foliage cover was too thick; he couldn't see a thing beneath the leaves. He would have to move in closer...

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

((I vote that we call ourselves 'Team Creeper Sound'. ... What?))
Simeon raised an arm to protect himself from the blast of air that followed Silver's quick departure into the sky. He sighed in exasperation and pointed for Saber to examine one half of the jungle area while he resolved to search in another.
Hopefully, other than a few chickens and a chance to rescue their flying feathered armory, there would be further clues as to what is really going on in the forums.

"Alright." Mandi positioned herself in front of the door, trying to align herself to where she remembered Cheez to be sitting. Closing her eyes, she raised her right hand to shoulder level, palm-up and fingers spread. A few seconds passed where nothing happened. Eventually, a faint blue glow appeared above her hand, spherical in shape and reminiscent of the color of snow and ice. She clenched her hand around the glow, its light shining faintly from between her fingers. After taking a deep breath and slowly releasing it, Mandi opened her eyes and nodded at Kaida and Josiah, indicating she was ready.

Josiah opened the door.
"Poik, Cheez, it's great to see you guys!" he grinned and walked in. "How have you been doing?"
As he's talking, Josiah claps Poik on the shoulder ((or maybe just leans down to pet him, since I don't think his size was ever established)). A moment later the cat finds himself in a arm bar and unable to reach his watch.
"Mandi, now! Kaida, grab the watch!"

{{Poik is roughly the size of a bobcat.}}
Poik struggles to free himself. Cheez stands up. "Hey, you big jerk!" and swings a punch at Josiah's face.

(It's Mandi's job to take care of Cheez but, if that doesn't work, Josiah will swing around so that Poik is between him and Cheez.)

Upon seeing Josiah seize Poik, Mandi brought her raised arm back down to her side. Exclaiming, "Frost Diver!" she made an upward throwing motion. Spikes of ice erupted from the ground in front of her, moving rapidly toward where Cheez was attempting to punch out Josiah. As they reached him, the spikes converged over his form, creating a crystalline cluster of icicles completely surrounding his body. Mandi held her breath, waiting to see if he would break out or not.

{{Well, this was probably the worst choice for reasons you can't know}}
When the spell hits Cheez, he barely flinches as it seems to be pulled in to his hat. Cheez looks over at Mandi, and quikly pushes a button on his desk, activating a barrier which incases Josiah as well as the two behind the desk.

Re: Forum Wars: The Pebble Version Forums Roleplay
"Tch..." Josiah shifts his grip on Poik into a one-handed arm bar and slide the watch off the cat's wrist(?). Then, releasing Poik, he draws his gunblade and strikes the inside of the barrier. As this is happening, he keeps a close eye on the new free cat, in case Poik decides to attack or try and retake the watch.

The barrier doesn't seem to take any damage, but Cheez sees the gunblade and cries out, "gak!" and tries to grab it from Josiah.

Re: Forum Wars: The Pebble Version Forums Roleplay
=Meanwhile, in the Survivor forums...=
Simeon ripped a banana tree out of the ground to get at the water-filled roots. It felt like he had been searching the undergrowth for hours with only Silver's repeated dives in a particular direction to guide him.
He fashioned a disposable cup out of one of the banana leaves and scooped up some of the water that was now seeping through the mushy innards of the banana roots, picked up a banana from the fallen tree's bunch, and sat down to eat a little before moving on.
As he bit into his second banana (after snapping the neck of a bold monkey that tried to snatch Simeon's food when he was not looking; protein to go with all the banana carbs.) the lion-man began to wonder about the progress his companions were making.
Simeon carefully managed to start a small cooking fire the old fashioned way and smoked the now flayed monkey meat while he cleaned the monkey's pelt for future use. After he was done with that, he began to clean up his little campsite, stuffing the huge banana bunch into his gunnysack of holding, followed by the smoked monkey meat wrapped in banana leaves, a few more raw banana fronds, and some of the banana tree's outer wood. There was a dried gourd hanging from a liana nearby, so Simeon filled that with some of the water coming out of the banana tree's roots. It wasn't much, but at least it was enough to keep the search going.
With that, he stomped out and buried the remains of his cooking fire and wandered back into the undergrowth... certain he had heard clucking to the north.

"Not happening." Josiah twists to the side, allowing Cheez's grab to go past his chest, then clubs him over the head with the butt of the gunblade. While doing this, he's still keeping half an eye on Poik, ready to fire some warning shots if the cat makes a move.

Re: Forum Wars: The Pebble Version Forums Roleplay
Over the sound of his wings and the wind they created through the trees, it seemed impossible for Silver to hear the sound of his chicken's desperate clucking...
It seemed impossible, but somehow, a mother can always hear her baby's cry.
Of course, Silver isn't Tilly's mother, so it's really quite astounding that he managed to hear her voice.
"Tilly! How dare they put you in a jungle camo-colored cage! And... you're actually green... Why did I have to use that for your Soap Opera Color palette?!" Silver cried to the heavens, pulling Tilly out and holding her close. "Ok! I should take you back to the clearing where you'll be safe, but there's no time! I've got to find the others, and fast!"
He took off back into the air just above the trees, more confident in his Keen Eyes now that he knew exactly what to look for. "Do you have any sort of... beacon functionality? A link to the other chickens, maybe? Is that too much to ask?"
