Greetings Minna~San!

So Happy Easter all! Hope you all have a good one for those who do celebrate it. ^_^ I don't really celebrate it all that much, it's more of an excuse to eat large amount of chocolate with no social reprecussions, means I have to exercise more though. . . I haven't got alot of chocolate today myself, but I've been raiding the chocolate egg isle for the past couple months so I think I've had my share.

Moi,

While, now, it is technically Easter day for me, it is a bit early for any kind of celebration or eating of chocolate. Besides, if I do partake in any chocolate or candy right now, it'll take even longer for me to drag myself off to bed. I also have a busy day tomorrow. Going to communion/mass for my god-mother's niece and nephew, brunch with my god-mother, and then dinner with my grandmother and cousins. I'll have to interact with so many people tomorrow, I don't know if my little introvert mind will be able to handle it all...At least I'll have chocolate, so that's something. A reward, perhaps, or maybe a way of coaxing myself to be social tomorrow.

In any case, right now I need my sleep. Stay radical people! Peace off!

Hey.

Screw the game drunk driving. Screw the fact that I won 3 times in a row. It's Mario Kart where you have to finish your beer before you finish the race, but you can't drink and drive at the same time.

Actually, it was a lot of fun and I made absolutely zero stupid choices, other than the fact that it took a few seconds of seeing double to finally make me realize that I should stahp. But then my bud and I walked back home together and we held hands because we're adorable and I really like holding people's hands and it doesn't mean I'm romantically interested in you I JUST LIKE HOLDING HANDS and he totally gets that and it's the best.

Salvete!

So this Easter break has been absolutely full of cooking experimentation for me, mostly Roman with a bit of Indian mixed in. Shrimp sauce with pine nuts, Ham slathered in honey and wrapped with dough and then baked, a strawberry lassi, and roasted carrots with pepper, cumin, and honey. Delicious.

Oh, yes, also, aloha!

I forgot to mention earlier that I have jury duty this week, so posting may be a bit weirdly timed depending on what days I'm going in. Don't worry, I won't have forgotten about you (except that one guy).

Moi,

Well, my Easter was...eventful this year.
Around 10:30 this morning, my dad dragged me out of bed to go to mass, but mainly to see my godmother afterwards. Apparently being surrounded by lots of noise and people right after I wake up (and not having any coffee in my system) gives me a bit of a a headache. I wasn't feeling well enough to go to my godmother's brunch, so I stayed home and slept.
At around 4:30, my parents and I left to head over to my grandmother's for dinner. My younger cousins were there, so we talked for most of the time. I'd say I had a good time.
...Then there was the ride home. On the way home, my parent's car died (on the highway, no less), so we had to call a tow-truck. My mom didn't like the idea of us three being jammed into a tow-truck's passenger seat, so my dad called up one of his old friends that was getting off work at the time, and worked rather close to where we stopped. He was happy to drive us back home (and it was nice to see him again). I also got to see the tow-truck doing it's thing with the chains and the pneumatic stuff and such. The little boy in me who still loves trucks and big machinery was happy.

So, a bit of an eventful day. I also got chocolate and candy and some small presents (a bit of a tradition in my household). I got a new pair of bunny slippers and (my favorite presents of all) a few books on how to speak Klingon! I've been reading them since this morning (yes, even during mass today) and the nerd in me is simply overjoyed.

I hope everyone else here has had a good Easter or whatever today.

Hi! Looks like Paypal updated some things and broke my button. I can't fix it now (well, I could but I don't like logging into anything containing my financial info when on a non-private network), but I'll have it working again in time for Wednesday's update.

I'm flying back to Florida in the morning and, thanks to the time change, it'll take the better part of the day. Today though, I rented a bike and headed over the Golden Gate bridge and into parts of San Francisco I've never seen before. It was a lot of fun (despite some weather issues) and I'll have a full travelogue update ready for Wednesday.

Hey.

So I'm planning on asking a girl on a date and have no idea what to do other than dinner and I feel like just dinner is boring. She's also not out (actually... she considers herself straight except for me and she's still trying to figure out her feelings), so it can't be super obviously a date. So working on that. Any potential ideas, people? Know it's kinda hard when you don't know what's in the area. Wanted to take her ice skating, but the stupid rink is closed for the season, which makes me frown immensely.

So, I have lots of experience with same sex dates, but nothing about lady dates. It should still be the same...probably.

We'll need to know more about your situation, but if you don't want it to be a date date where she doesn't want people to see her and think untoward thoughts, try Starbucks! Others will assume that you two are just friends, you can get to know each other if you haven't yet and still have a good time. Or alternatively take her to a frat party and make out, but I digress.

(but seriously, don't do that last one)

In related news, I might be going on a date myself if I play my cards right. I wonder what movies are playing...

If you notice that the post count decreased, that's because it did. Because I moved the recent discussion over to the Unrated section. Just so no one gets worried about Time Warps or anything.

Why don't you take her to a movie or bowling or something like that? Or you could just ask her what she would like to do.

Moi,

Well, today was tiring, for sure. My dad and I had to wake up at 6:30 am (aka: way too early for me on break) and drive over to get to Buffalo by 9:00 am to check out the University of Buffalo. That's right, I'm visiting colleges now. Gosh, I'm growing up so fast...
It looked pretty cool but, MAN, was it bigger then I expected. It was more like a small city then anything. I guess I'm just a bit overwhelmed since it's my first time visiting a college, and UB is one of the larger colleges around my area. Other then that, it was very cool, and it's not too far from home either!
So, there was quite a bit of walking, my dad got us lost at least twice, and there was a never ending supply of gosh dang mud. And, amazingly, it wasn't snowing the entire time!

Overall, good experience, good time, and I'm going to sleep well tonight after all of that walking.

Stay radical, people! Peace off!
