Indeed they do, but I think some in really classy places are on better wages than me, so no tips for yooouu!I assume waiters and waitresses earn at least minimum wage over there
Before I even begin with a reply to Giga-Gar post, I just want to state I'm for Gay marriage. I think you should be able to marry who you want.whenever I've come across an opponent to gay marriage, I just think to myself, "they arn't bigots, just ignorant. It's not their fault."
However, you can't just say that someone that don't agree with you is ignorant in this case. Some people have very valid reasons to be against Gay marriage, and you need to respect there right to disagree with something as much as you respect someone else's right to agree with it.
Some people don't have an issue with giving Gay people the same rights as a legally married couple, like a civil partnership we have here

What most people have a problem with is calling it a "marriage" and to be fair, I can understand. Religion is meeting politics here, and in the eyes of some religions, marriage is a religious commitment before a legal one. I get that Gay people want to get married, and call it a marriage. I truly understand, but I can also understand why so may people have an issue with it.
I think Gay marriage should be excepted on a legal side, but you can't really force a religion to except it. It is something that needs to be worked out by those people who believe it. Forcing them to do so will only make it worse.
