Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."

Hmm... we see a lot of media wherein people slaughter aliens because they're nameless baddies and good targets, but then again, there's also plenty of super-powerful and creepy evil aliens. In a one-on-one, I think the alien would take it. I mean, an astonaught's just a regular guy, really. He doesn't have any cool powers or fantastic technology.
