Aloha! While I don't disagree vis a vis drinking in high school, I would say that the arbitrary college cutoff is a bit of a specious argument. I mean, one could argue that people get less mature when supervision is removed, certainly.

Just... bleh. The world irritates me a lot. I irritate me a lot. I've recently been trying to find meaning in my life. Currently reading Tuesdays With Morrie (which is a fantastic read so far and I highly recommend it) and after that I'm starting on an essay about free will by David Foster Wallace.

The forums has been a lot more active recently. It is great but means I have to read like 2 pages every day LOL. Over the weekend it was like 5. I'm so tired, busy day at work yesterday and then finishing clearing all my stuff. Got it all in boxes at the end of my bed...nice

Don't get me started on the mainstream news media... They've been extremely biased for ages and now there's that whole trend of sympathizing with the bad guys... You think that rape case was bad? There was this ex-cop in California a month or so back who decided to go around shooting a bunch of policemen and their families in revenge for losing his job. And half the stories about it were all about how the poor guy lost his job was doing the only thing he could to call attention to problems in the police force.
And then there's all the times in the past when terrorists hurt/killed a bunch of innocent people and the news is about how it's totally the victems' country's fault for offending the terrorists. How stupid can people get?
