Hi! I'll note that my family used to live way out in the country and I've also done a lot of hiking and such, so it's not like I've seen all of those animals wondering around town or anything. I'd love to see a lot of African animals in the wild, though between dieases and political problems it's not really the safest part of the world to visit. Austrailia has a lot of cool wild animals though, and it's a much safer and easier trip as well...

Austrailia is where UK Soap characters go and never get scene again LOL

I don't fancy the animals over there, EVERYTHING looks like it can kill you at a glance...

I'd like to see those fish that live on the ground but need to stay wet to breath. Sounds like natures "Polly Shouldn't be"

Hi! Sure Austrailia has some dangerous animals but so does everywhere except some islands, and what have you got against kangaroos and koala bears?

Hey.

I saw some deer on campus the other day! It was cool. I also got really close to a wild deer at camp once.

Sooo I just spent the past hour or so cleaning my dorm room as I watched How I Met Your Mother episodes... yeah, I really don't wanna start my English essay.

But I still don't have much interesting to say, so back to being in college! Ta!

I haven't done too much traveling, and of the two places I've been outside new Jersey, all I really saw in Florida were some lizards and squirrels, and in Arizona I saw a few deer. I've come across plenty of stuff in new Jersey though... foxes, raccoons, skunks... saw a coyote once! Driving down the old dirt road at night and two of 'em jumped out in front of my car. Didn't hit them thankfully! And I know we weren't counting birds so much, but I've seen a bald eagle - hung around the pond down the road for a few days. Also, my neighbor started raising peacocks... A few of them ran off. Then they came back... with children. Repeat that a few times and we've got a legitimate flock of wild peacocks. Don't think we ever saw them roaming around after that coyote incident though... hmmm...

Anyways, I started school today too. This semester is... ugh. An 8:30 medieval literature class with a professor that speaks in a really soft voice... it's gonna be nap time whether I want it to or not! And combine that with two Holocaust studies courses because, for whatever reason, my college is really fixated on pushing Holocaust stuff... not my idea of a good time. The only class I'm looking forward to is Dumb people Physics! Because the professor seems like a lot of fun. Generally, I hate these dumb people classes - just because I'm majoring in Lit doesn't mean I can't handle a proper science class! Let me take some besides the "General" level, geez! - but this one seems like it'll be fun, rather than mind-rottingly dull. I swear I got stupider in that "General" Algebra class...
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

kangaroos and koala bears
Blinkin' Marsupials! LOL, God I miss Noah's Island...

I got nothing against those, but Koala's are boring and Kangaroos are just plain weird!

Hi.

I've actually heard that Kangaroos don't taste bad, just a bit tough and stringy.

And college is so far going well for me. I got a diffrent opinion about work though.

Hi! I love traveling, as I'm sure you know if you've read any of my travelogues. When I was a kid my family traveled a lot for one reason or another. At first it was either visiting relatives (we didn't leave in the same state as any of them) or something related to my dad's work (he was either teaching a seminar somewhere or attending a conference). And we generally expanded those business trips into mini-vacations. Since my dad's a chiropractor, he can pretty much set his own schedule. Then after we moved to CO my dad got into hiking and rock collecting so we went on tons of road trips and they eventually morphed into more straight up exploration and sightseeing trips. Not the cheapest hobby, but seeing new places and doing new things is a lot of fun.

Let's see... back in 2004 my family went on a three-week road trip to the Rocky Mountains and back. Apart from that (and a trip to Disneyworld a few years ago) I haven't been outside Ontario / Western Quebec that much. Most of my travelling has consisted of twice-yearly visits to family in Kitchener and Windsor.

Hmmm... I've never been to New York City, and it's only an eight or nine-hour drive from Ottawa. Visiting the Big Apple sometime would be nice.

Ah, that's true, I've been to upstate New York quite a few times. My grandparents lived up there for a while. And Maryland as well for Otakon... I forget about those since it was never traveling for the sake of traveling, it was always to see family and all.

If you're ever up there again, come visit meeeeeeeeee. I'm not even kidding. We could partay at Cornell. Yee.

I've always wanted to travel, but my family just never gets around to it despite the fact that my father really wants to, too. Except he hates spending money, so that's always a problem. Hoping to study abroad junior year!

In other news, I have an essay due tomorrow that I should probably finish. Ta!

My family used to always go on holiday once a year overseas when I was a kid. We started when I was about 8 maybe. We spent most of our holidays in Spain and the islands around it, but we have been to Greece a few times as well. I've been to Malta as well, which was very interesting.

I went to America in 2006 and spent time in Florida but spent most of it in West Palm Beach. This year I went back to a Spanish Island again for the first time since 2000.

We spend most of our UK holidays in Wales.

Just recently I've started to "travel" for real instead of just holidays. I've spent time in Cardiff, London and Weymouth due to the Olympics and I'm planning a trip to Japan next year.

I want to make one trip to Egypt and one to Pompeii, then anywhere else is just a bonus for me!

Hi.

Well with luck, I may be able to spend a month in Germany this comming summer. Main issue is saving up the money to do so, as I also need a new computer.

Hi! I'm going to Honolulu again over winter break (my parents will be there and are paying for my ticket so I can visit). Hoping for Japan next summer, but it's too early to say for sure.
