Is there any real reason to have a seperate thread for this, as opposed to just posting things in the regular Minecraft thread?

There is actually. Redstone is like electrical engineering, and might fill the other thread up. Might. It's like Pokémon kind of. There's a difference between the andvendturing and puzzle solving, and the battles. Granted, it's not the best example, but I think it need it's own thread.

The thing is, this isn't a Minecraft forum. There really aren't a lot of discussions about it that go on to begin with. You don't need to worry about filling up a thread that has less than two pages...
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.
