I think I've had a few dreams that continue after I wake up. Sometimes I can have it happen by falling back asleep after waking up, but a few times it'll be a few days or weeks until the dream continues.

Actually, speaking of dreams, I've decided to start recording my dreams in more detail. The reason being that, in my Studio Art II class, we're going to be painting landscapes based on different styles of art. The styles we talked about were abstract, realism, expressionism, and surrealism. My favorite happens to be surrealism, so I'm going to base my painting off of some of my dreams because, hey, what's more surreal than dreams?

Ugh. School is so boring. And now an hour drive home. And then I sit around and do nothing. My life rocks.

SO I AM IN LOVE WITH THE SCHOOL I'M HOSTING! So I dunno if I explained this, but we're hosting Drama Fest, which is a compeition where schools compete with 40 minute plays that are judged by judges and stuff. So, 3 people from our school get assigned to each of the 9 schools that are coming, and the school that I'm assigned to came to our stage today to get one hour to practice on it. AND MY KIDS ARE AMAZING! About half of them are also BAND KIDS (I am the only band kid in my school's drama guild... it's kind of depressing) and there's this one girl who plays trumpet and I was all, off handedly, "Oh, and I play trumpet and piano" and she was like "WAIT DID YOU SAY TRUMPET?!" and I was all "Yeah!" and she was like "MEE TOO!" and I was like "OMGOMGJAIWOEJGOIAWHEGKIPHAW" and then we ran and hugged and spun around.

Later, I was talking to one of the kids from my cast about how excited I was to be assigned to this school, and she told me that I was adorable around them and that she was so happy I had band kids to be band kids with :3 Adorable isn't normally a word I'd use to describe myself, but I'm just so busy being excited about having more band kids~

So I'll spend approximately 1 hour home for all of tomorrow, and approximately 0 hours home for all of Saturday. This KotF is going well!

Oh, and I baked my friend a cake for his birthday today and I cut it into the shape of the triforce but I'M DUMB AND FORGOT TO TAKE A PIC OF IT oh well!

Greetings all.

It's KOTF Time again! The next week I'll be pretty busy with work and uni (it's my last week of work). I quit my current job. Unfortunately I'm one of those people that can't really handle study and work. Maybe I will be able to eventually, but not at this point in time. To messed up in other ways and too easily stressed out.

Marluxia all I can really do is give you a big virtual hug *hug*. Because everyone else has pretty much covered what I would say. Believe in yourself. Yes you may have some bad qualities. But you also have lots of good qualities. If this friend of yours has been your friend since you were 5, then I believe that you can both work it out, obviously theres been something there for you two to be friends right ^_^. Give her a couple days to cool off and try talking to her. Relationships of any kind are like. . . well, their like a neverending story. They don't stop until you give up on it. If you've done everything you can to make peace with your friend and it doesn't work then no one can say you didn't try. And you'll feel better for trying. (I'm not saying that your giving up, so please don't be offended).

This is Dew (The green-yellow budgie with black strips on hs wings) (The yellow one is Sorbet, and Azure's in the background though you probably can't see much of him). We found him in a pet store at a shopping center on Tuesday lunch-time. We were told that he was 11-12 weeks old. We did not believe this as he was a lot smaller then the other budgerigar's they had. He was curled up in the bottom of the cage trying to sleep.
He was very small, light and too skinny for a baby. We brought him home. From his behavior he would have only been about 7-8 weeks old and had been in the pet store for a couple weeks. Meaning he was taken from the nest at around 5-6 weeks. He should not have been in the pet store. He was taken from his nest too soon. He was malnourished, and appeared to have a problem with his right claw (he was gripping very tightly and couldn't balance properly).

He passed away Thursday morning. In our hands(mine and my husbands). Sorbet and Azure were making a large fuss which was slowly getting to me. They woke Robby up alot sooner. I was fully woken up by Robby ripping apart the cage to get Dew out. He had though he had aready gone at that point. after a few moments he gave him to me so he could call his mother (she has more experience in these situations). It was at this point that I noticed his hart was still beating. He was blinking and recongized us. The was nothing we could do expect give him a cuddle in our hands as he went.
Now I've lost pets before, it's not something I'm new to. But they we're all put down, they were all old, had a full life and we couldn't bear to see them in pain. (One due to cancer and two due to kidney failure, one of with also had arthritis.)
But this is a whole new experience to me. There were plenty of signs telling us that he was going. he spent almost all his time either sleeping or trying to eat (we're unsure of how much food he was able to get into his stomach). The rest of it was spent exploring our home, spending time with Sorbet and Azure, and us of course.
The theory is that he had a minor stroke of sorts with at the pet store which is why he had trouble gripping and balancing. His organs had already started shutting down when we brought him home. There was nothing we could have done to save him. But we at least gave him a happy place to go, instead of in a crowded cage in a pet store where the owners didn't really care about him.
We only wish we could have gotten to him a few days or a week earlier. He may have had a chance then.

I'm currently in the midst of a big rush to get as much work as I can done before going to GDC. It was going pretty well, despite my social life stealing away more time than I should probably allow it to, but then my dad suddenly sprung a new job on me that needs to get done ASAP. Yay... I'll be on the forums for a while tonight and tomorrow since I can't work on shabbat but other than that I may not be on as much as I'd like for the coming week or so.

Thanks Faustgy! So I was supposed to go back home from college today so I could go to a friend's birthday party, but my mom decided that we aren't going to leave until tomorrow morning : ((((. But on the bright side I get to nerd it up over here and play Runescape for the next ~12 hours, which should be fun. For about 6 hours.

So my Drama Fest competition is tomorrow and I'm super excited!

However, one of the cast members (he's not a lead, but he has a significant part) is now in the ER with a possible broken ankle. And the competition is tomorrow. YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TAKE "BREAK A LEG" LITERALLY!

Ohhhh someone said the name of the Scottish play! THEY SAID IT THE OTHER DAY AND THAT'S WHY THIS IS HAPPENING TO US! IT'S CURSED! CURSED, I TELL YOU!

Right now, I'm not sure what's going to happen, but he doesn't have one large part, just several smaller ones, and one could easily be played by a girl so I'm learning the lines. I'm not sure what we're going to do, but I thought I'd take initiative and hope for the best.

Oh, and... yeah... KotF... 'bout that...
