For this week(s/month(s))'(s) web comic I bring you Erfworld! This web comic is a parody of table top gaming in which Parson Gotti, a failed web comic artist with a horrible job who hates his life except when he is gaming or GM'ing, gets sucked into a game much like the one he had just spent 5 months planning. Once there, he has to lead a doomed city from the jaws of defeat at the hands of Prince Ansom of Jetstone's coalition, without even knowing the physics and mechanics of the world he's been transported into. Having been summoned specifically for his ability to lead armies (in table top scenarios), Parson is, at least, completely aware of what inanity he is getting into.
Part of the reason I'm posting this is because one of my friends suggested it to me fairly recently, and I've got a little bit left in it to read, so I may post favorites later.
The art is good for it's stylized look; and the plot is okay and gets better, I think, in chapter two. But why are you reading my lackluster review, when you can read it yourself. I need to go get groceries.

Re: Erfworld
Ah yes, I read this comic a while ago... I liked the art and the concept, however the further I got in, the more confused I got, and the less I realized I really cared about the story. I kept up with it for a bit, then got distracted by something shiny and just gave up. Maybe I'll get back into reading it, though!
May the Triforce be with you.

Re: Erfworld
I've actually been reading this one since it started because the first chapter ran on the same site as Order of the Stick. The art is good (if not exactly one of my favorite styles) and the world is clever and amusing (the types of units, game mechanics, and the like). As far as the story goes, it's a little hard to tell where it's going at this point and I can't say that I'm particularily attached to any of the characters. That said, I find it entertaining enough to keep reading.
