Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! I spent a while hanging out with people from University of Florida's Japan club. It was fun. And there were even several people from Japan, so it was good practice too. And then today I went to St. Augustine, which was pretty cool (full write-up with photos coming Monday on PV).
So the last couple of days have been a lot of fun...except for my dad somehow getting pnumonia. He should be ok, but it's one of those illnesses that can really make your life miserable while it lasts.

Hi!
Today probably wasn't the best day to end the school week. I just really don't like it when friends are so insecure and they frequently brag whenever something good happens in their life. Well, looking at the glass half-full, I might've lost a friend but I sure do look forward to making more this school year. 6 hours of church service tomorrow from 9 to 3, then band practice till 7. Sunday will be studying for AP History, AP English, Pre-AP Chemistry, and every other tough class I'm taking this year. My weekend is foiled... Just kidding.
Peace out!

Hi! Just hanging out and getting stuff done today. My to-do list seems to be a bit longer than I thought but I've got Big Bang Theory Season 4 to watch while I work on it.

Hey.
Very up and down today. Involved not getting invited to one of my closest friend's birthday party as well as acing my BC Calc quiz. Probably great for my mental stability, having to flip flop so much all day. Yay.
Right now, I feel sick to my stomach. I was already worried we were growing apart and then today happened and now I don't know what to think. Thing is, I had this awesome present planned and everything... went and wrote her a freaking song... but now I just want to tear up the stupid music. Hm.

Hi!
Yesterday wasn't a good day, but I'm looking forward to today though. Despite getting an extra hour of sleep last night, I still feel very tired. Looking on the bright side, the day hasn't even started yet and hopefully it will be a good one.
Also, on the side note, I'm considering watching Gundam 00, since my mecha fan friend told me if you want something close to Wing, 00 is the series to look at. I don't know, haven't really been a fan of post-2000's anime, nor did I enjoy Gundam SEED after watching it halfway, but just because Setsuna reminds me a lot of Heero, that makes things much more interesting.
Peace out!

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
I watched Gundam 00... and didn't really enjoy it much at all. Forgettable characters, poor pacing, and ridiculous amounts of inconsequential politics made it hard to stick with it... and the whole concept of "Celestial Being" just made me facepalm. But I mean, I'm not much of a mecha fan to begin with, so that didn't help...
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Hi! I tend to be a bit behind on Gundam series (since a lot of them get liscensed and I don't download liscensed shows), so I haven't seen 00 yet, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. I'm sure I'll get the DVDs eventually.

'Ello. It was volunteer day at my school today, and...I was a total genius and got separated from the rest of my dorm group. I couldn't find anyone from my group at all, but another dorm invited me to join them. It was actually pretty fun. We visited an elementary school and started painting the walls. A couple of us actually got to play with the kids, since we had coincidentally arrived at their recess time. Stepping onto an elementary school playground for the first time in years sure brings back memories...

Moi,
Ugh...I'm exhausted. Today was the mile run in gym. I'm still getting over that cold I got so long ago, so breathing wasn't exactally my forte today. I do have to say that I'm proud of myself. I beat my previous time that I got last year...by one second. But still! An impressive feat for me!
So, school has been going well, and I'm, surprisingly, making it through the days I don't have a free period for lunch pretty well. So yeah...
Closing remarks: After a cold, cough drops are your friends.

Hi!
Hope you're doing better now, Poison. Congratulations on that mile run!
My other band invited me to join them in a concert this afternoon, so I thought "why not?" There will be over 200 people at this event, though, which makes me nervous thinking about it. Oh well, I'm gonna give it my best either way.
Peace out!

Hi! Trying to decide if I want to go to the bowling night the UF Japanese club is having tonight or stay home and work on Aurora's Nightmare. On the one hand, bowling is fun and it'd be a good way to meet peole. On the other hand, if I go that'll probably eat up my whole evening and I didn't get any writing done yesterday since I went shopping and to the Japanese club meeting. This is starting to remind me of the time management in Persona 3...

G'day!
That concert last night was awesome! I didn't get to play my guitar though my friend let me borrow his bass. Sadly, there were a lot less people than we thought who showed up. Out of 200 people we expected, only 70 came. Bummer. Though it's time to face reality again today, by going back to school... Meh, it should be interesting though.

Ohayou.
...Ow. I hit my earring with something while putting art stuff into my car last night. It hurt the rest of the day, but I thought it was just irritation and left it be. Now I'm thinking it actually tore something because...let's just say I think I'm in at risk of needing to take my earring out and letting the piercing heal. >> I'm particularly annoyed because this is my right earring, which I pierced over a year ago and hasn't given me any problems until now... Grr.

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Hi! As it turned out, bowling started a lot later than I though so I was able to work it into my schedule without a problem.
In other, Rosh Hoshanna (one of the two most important Jewish holidays) is on Thrusday next week. Fortunately, I earn eight hours of sick leave every month, of which I can use up to 24 per year for personal reasons. As, as I've been working here around six weeks, I've got the time I need to take the day off. Or at least I should... The way their system works, even though I earned those hours, only four have actually been credited to me so far and I don't get the rest until the 30th, which is one day after Rosh Hoshanna. And the person in charge of that stuff is a real stickler for the rules and won't let me use hours that haven't be credited to me yet, even though I technically already earned them. So that means I need another four hours. I actually only work for six hours on Thursdays and about half that time is spent in my office by myself but I'm still required to be on campus during that office time. And, if you take an entire day off of work, you're required to use eight hours of leave, no matter how much time you were actually scheduled to work that day (though apparently you can loop hole that by coming in to work for half an hour since then you didn't actually take off the entire day so you don't need to use a full eight hours, just whatever amount of time you were scheduled for). My supervisor was nice and helpful, but there's only so much she can do. Long story short, I got the day off but I have to be on campus for an extra four hours on campus today and then Monday - Wednesday next week to make up for those additional four hours I need for Rosh Hoshanna. That works, but it certainly would have been a lot simpler if they just updated the leave totals in their system a little bit more often or let me use the hours I earned one day before the thing updates...

Re: Return of the Revenge of the Son of Saying Hi to Josiah!
Moi,
Nothing really new to post here. I've been fine. Nothing too interesting happening in school right now (Well, there's homecoming, but I don't find it interesting enough to talk about in detail). The only thing I could say is new is something that hasn't happened in over one-and-a-half years. I got my hair cut! I only got two inches off the bottom, and it doesn't really look that different...but still!
So yeah, *noms on crunchy ramen noodles* that's about it...now I'm just rambling because I don't want the end of this post to be too sudden, but the more I talk, the more awkward it gets...yeah...umm...*goes off to finish homework*
