Chyo whatup. I've been taking it easy for the past little bit, not really caring about school and such. In Kelowna ( where I moved) school is a breeze. You don't have to do anything and they say "Oh, ok. Here's and A. Keep up the good work". While back in Calgary it was (Oh, you aced everything, here's a B- and get out of my face". Big difference, I'm loving it. Just thinking back when I first joined the forums, this thread only had like.. What? 400 or 500 pages? Not sure, but this forum has an INSANE amount of posts compared to other forums that I've been to. Keep up the good work :D

Hey.

I just found a hilarious Pokemon webcomic called "Super Effective!" recently. So far, it's only about 50 strips long, but it's really worth the time reading. Aside from that, I'm still trying to write my story and compose some songs, most importantly schoolwork...

Peace out!

Hi! Super Effective... Oh yeah, that's the one on VG Cats that updates slightly more frequently than VG Cats (so, once every two or three months as opposed to almost never).

Nothing too special here. Just writing and working on stuff. I checked out the local Chinese Cultural Center yesterday. It's no China Town but there were a few good Chinese restaurants, a couple of interesting knick-knack type stores, and fairly nice Asian super market (not as big as the one I usually go to but closer, than they had reasonably priced Mirin (a sweet sake used to make Teriyaki sauce), so that was cool). So that was a fun way to kill a couple of hours.

So, I have to take care of a plastic baby over the weekend. That will start crying, and won't stop until I stick the right key into its back. At strange times. This should be a fun night.

Also, I don't think Super Effective even updates that often :P

Oh, and College Board was all "Oh, we said May 26th for SAT scores? We changed it to May 28th. Oh, wait, it's May 27th now? Never mind, we'll change it to that." I don't know how good is "good" for SAT subject tests. Or if it matters what subjects they are. Two of them, I'm pretty confident are pretty good... but one of those is US (though I got a 790 on that one--ballin') and I'm not sure if it matters because I'm more intersted in engineering and computer science... do you guys know? Would they prefer a Math one? Because my math 2 score wasn't bad, but it wasn't altogether impressive, I think. I'm not sure, tho. Don't get how the scaling works. My physics score was pretty good, tho!

Hi!
Plastic babies, eh? My Health teacher said the school planned on giving those out to 8th graders next year. I think it's so... sad.

Ah Super Effective... I remember reading it and then promptly losing my patience after seeing that it only updates sporadically.

All of my faraway cousins... all of my internet buddies... have been released from school for the summer. But now I've finally seen the last of massive projects that count for more than one test grade...! I got an 83 on my research paper, after all that I went through. *sob* That's like a really low-B or a High-C But I can't stop thinking that something was about to happen on a "May 28". Something... important.

Welp, with anything annoying out of the way that means I can finally do something that I want to do! In other words.... more... work. *sigh* Hobbies. Fanart. Yay.

Hi! Unless you're trying to get into an ivy league school, the bar for SAT scores is actually fairly low. Anything above 500 per section will get you into most schools. Move than 600 per section puts you in the top 20 percentile.

Thanks! And, er, not to sound like a cocky jerkface or anything, but I do have a couple of Ivys on my list, which is why I'm concerned that my scores might not be good enough.

So, I took the battery out of the baby today... it was oddly tragic. Though it woke me up about 10 times each night, it really wasn't too bad.... kind of fun to tote it around everywhere and get funny glances from people. Kind of disappointed no one came up to me critisising my baby's lack of socks, though (that actually happened to a couple of my friends... their response was a fervent "IT'S PLASTIC, NOT A REAL BABY").

Supposed to be working on my 1776 paper, but the rubric was really vauge and I don't know what to write about, so I went to the 1776 TV tropes page and clicked around and now there are a bunch of tabs up there. Whee!

Oh, and it's really hot. Like, above 90 degrees (F)... which is hot for MA in summer! And it's May! Not to mention the humditiy! And the fact that I have to march in two parades tomorrow and stand by at two ceremonies with a stuffy uniform tomorrow does NOT make me happy.

So, I find myself at 11 o'clock, trying to work on an essay, but instead on TV Tropes and pondering the mystery of life.

'Atta girl, Saber! Use TVTropes to your fullest advantage, and then watch as you succumb to it's mysterious pull! That's how it should be for everyone!

Not much to report here really, except I finally got Microsoft Office 2010. Also, Portal 2 won't work on my laptop and it looks like I'll have another jobless summer. Hooray for being unemployed...

Hi! Today and yesterday were on the cool side here. I'd love to spend all day today playing games and maybe go to the movies at some point. However, I've got project to work on for one of the classes I'm auditing and I don't think I should really skip a day of work on Aurora's Nightmare... Half a day, maybe?

Hey.

So, marching a 2 hour parade in the STUFFIEST UNIFORMS EVER in 90 degree weather should be made into some form of torture. Just sayin'. It's entirely legal, apparently.

Also, we learned who next year's drum major is gonna be. I'm an assistant drum major again, but the director dropped a hint that I might get to conduct one of the songs... trying not to get too excited about that because it might not happen, but... it's hard not to :P

Also, me and my friends had a wonderful discussion today where I finally decided to admit something I've been struggling with for months now--I'm not sure of my sexuality. I feel like it's something you SHOULD be sure of, but I really just have no idea. Totally lost. We ended up settling on asexual, at least for now, because it's been forever since I've had a crush on someone, and even then I was trying to figure out if I had just made up the crush feeling in a desire to have crushes like normal people. I was told I have to go make out with a girl and a guy and decide which one I like better (one of my guy friends was more than happy to volunteer--and he volunteered his girlfriend as well. I declined, of course, despite his protestations), but the thing is, I have no interest in doing anything like that, which was another reason we decieded I was asexual. All in all, quite an intersesting discussion, and it was something that had been bugging me for quite some time, it felt nice to kind of put it in the open... even if we ended the discussion just as confused as we had been at the start.

Heso! Saber, I know that feeling all too well. On both the asexualness thing and the being in the heat and wearing stuffy clothes thing. I work at Burger King, see? And no air conditioner in the world is powerful enough to combat the heat of the 300+ degree fryer and 400+ degree broiler. That's why they tend to break. Once they go, the freezer goes because so much heat gets in and it works itself to death. And once both of them are gone, it gets to be about 90 in the kitchen. Which, under any other circumstances, violates fair working conditions... but because it's fast food, they're allowed to pull whatever crap they want. So to be stuck there for six hours with no break... (all temperatures are in Fahrenheit by the way, to all you Canadian-types who would get confused)

As for the other issue... it's probably something like this, right? You don't really think of yourself as a girl, so you can't ever see yourself with a guy. But at the same time, a lot of your friends are girls, and you've never looked at them as anything but friends. Sounds familiar... Anyways. People are gonna tell you that it's weird to be asexual and they're gonna question if it's even humanly possible. But you know what? It's really not such a bad thing, especially during high school. Do you know how much drama I avoided by just... not liking anyone ever? As it is, I had the misfortune of finding myself liking someone that was already in a relationship... Who also liked me. Yeah, it was all considerably more dramatic than it needed to be, but... unlike most high schoolers, I never wasted my time on a pointless relationship. I never dated anyone just to avoid being lonely. I never forced a relationship to last if it wasn't working. I never ruined a friendship with a nasty breakup. And you know? Those all sound like good things to me. For what it's worth, I would've been content to go my whole life without dating anyone ever. I would have been, but... well, it just sort of happened. I didn't go looking or anything. She was just... there. And here we are two years later...

Well, that's how it is. The bottom line is... it's ok to be asexual, bisexual, just curious, or however you find yourself. Also, randomly making out with a girl isn't going to tell you anything. It's ok to just wait for the right person to come along and see how it goes from there because, well, it's not like you're just going to drop dead as a result of being single. I wish more people understood that.

P.S. this guy sucks. If neither guys or girls do it for you the best you'll find is a crossdresser and it's all his fault. There should be more futanari dammit ;_;
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I'm just here to say that someone stole Cheezdude's identity and told him to give it back if he knows what's good for him.

Hi! Plants vs. Zombies for Android is free today only in the Amazon Appstore! I now ow have something on my phone way better than Angry Birds could ever be. ;-)

Anyway... I never understood how not having a crush on anyone would make people question their sexuality (I blame the media). I like girls but that doesn't mean I'm automatically attracted to the majority of girls I see/know. It doesn't work that (at least not for most people). I haven't really dated in the past simply because I haven't met the right girl yet. As Silver said, dating for the sake of dating is stupid. Wait until you find someone that you really enjoy spending time with and either have or think you could develop feelings for.

Someone stole Cheez's identity? Why? Why would anyone have a grudge or anything against Cheez? Who doesn't like cheez? I know I like cheez. Especially on hamburgers...wait okay seriously now why would anyone do this to Cheez? That's just a jerky thing to do.

By the way. Silver. Support everything you just said  Couldn't have said it better myself :D You too Josiah. So many sensible people on this board. I'm glad I joined it :D

Plants vs. Zombies is free? Oh darn android. I've got an iPod Touch. Oh well, guess I'll have to pay for it. It's about time I saw what all the hype was about. I got Angry Birds not too long ago just cause everyone kept asking me if I had it and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Kept me entertained on the plane ride to Rincon. That and Soul Silver...I'm digressing a lot today.

Anywho I'm illustrating a children's book for these two girls in my class. So now I don't have to write one of my own and get to do nothing in that class but draw. Yay! The funny thing is that in the book they're both bunnies, and the teacher is their bunny mommy. And since she's pregnant I have to draw her as a pregnant bunny mommy. She gets kidnapped by a wolf in an argyle sweater vest drawn to depict another teacher in the school. It's fun :P.
