Hahaha, awesome! I've never heard Jingoes... but it's a fair sight better than Struth or Crikey, so I can forgive that! Go for broke is used alllll the time though. I... didn't even realise that was cultural slang, haha.

Rant Title: A wedding, a wedding, were going to have a wedding.

Today marks the Royal Wedding of Prince William & Kate Middleton http://www.officialroyalwedding2011.org/ . It marks an unexpected but very much welcome Bank Holiday for the United Kingdom. I’m currently off work and intend to watch the big event on TV.

It’s a big deal for the UK and even though I don’t personally keep up to date with the Royal’s, I’m happy that they are getting married and wish them all the best on there big day. Lets hope it doesn’t rain! It’s been beautiful weather and awful weather all at the same time!

As far as I am aware the wedding should be being broadcast in a lot of different countries, so why not catch a bit of British pomp and glory!

I distinctly remember eating Pokemon Cereal when I was a kid.

It has marshmellows in the shape of several different pokemon, I'm assuming one was Pikachu but I really don't remember.

It tasted pretty horrible, actually.

Yeah, they don't make it anymore, but there was a Pokemon cereal. It had Pikachu, Gengar, and... Charmander, I think? Maybe some others? I also seem to recall that it came with "Bowl Buddies", which were supposed to hang off of the cereal bowl while you ate. I have Arbok and Geodude. Also, there was a Pokemon promotion with Poptarts later on, and those were Strawberry-flavored Poptarts with Pokemon-shaped sprinkles on them. They came with Pencil toppers in the image of Pichu, Totodile, and Entei.I have all three of those.


...What?

Anyways, there have never been such oddly specific Pokemon cereals. Also, I can't imagine what they would taste like... chicken, maybe?

Rant Title:The way the world should be

A lot has happened in the world this week that I could talk about...
I understand that the issue of Osama Bin Laden's death is probably the biggest news this year, and I could talk about how I feel on the issue, speculate on the various conspiracy theories that have already started to circulate or state my opinion on the man himself...but I'd rather talk about nice things in my news post....so I'll leave it at that.

The Royal Wedding took place last Friday and went of without a hitch in my opinion. Kate Middleton look beautiful in her wedding dress, all the bride's maids were ever cute and Prince Harry (The Best Man) suddenly looked very attractive in that uniform....ahum, anyway....

I't made me very proud to be British watching the gathered crowned proceed down towards the Palace to watch The Kiss http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-13229961 . It made me realise, that even in the current economic and social unsteadiness of the recession, a nation can still come together and fine something to celebrate.

On that note, I'd like to direct anyone interested to the Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton Charitable Gift Fund http://www.royalweddingcharityfund.org/

Keep Safe people, and tell the ones closest to you that you love them every day.
