"Brendan, huh? Hmm... I wouldn't say that there were any specific characters that inspired him but he has a bit of the generic unexperienced but surprisingly skilled hero character (see most sports and game anime, and a lot of video games for that matter) and also the "this world makes no sense" type of character such as Adram from Adventures! and Cherry from RPGWorld.

"Depends on who you consider a major character. If you're just talking Brendan and May, cutting either one would kinda ruin the comic. I could possibly get rid of Xain or Cali or one of the more important characters who hasn't shown his/her face yet without screwing things up too badly though."
