The only problem with that Silver is my DSLite is getting a little old, normally my nintendo consols are all amazingly drop-proof, accidently-fall-off-somthing-proof, someone-trodding-on-them-proof (although that GBA didn't like it when my sister jumped on it), etc. But this one just doesn't seem to be as tough, or I've had it for longer then I think I have, and has been a little glitchy of late and it's recently started to get rather irritating.
In short, yes I would normally do that and just stick with my DSLite, but considering the circumstances I think it's better if I upgrade. Who know's I might change my mind at a later date and decide it's not being as annoying as I think it is and stick with it for awhile longer.

If you upgrade though, I recommend just spending the extra money and getting the 3DS since you'll just have to upgrade the DSi to one before long anyway. The only reason I have a DSi is because my Light broke long before the 3DS was announced.

I can't wait for the 3DS. My original blue DS doesn't even work anymore, after the top half broke off from the rest of it. The games on there look really nice too, Ocarina of Time being one of my all-time favorites, and I love the Paper Mario series.

Assuming I return to the US in January I'll not only have B&W but KH Re:Coded, LBP2, Dissida Duo Decim, Ghost Trick, 999, Radient Historia, and Tactics Ogre (well, some I'll need to go out and buy since I didn't pre-order them all but they're all most haves for me). And that's not counting the games I haven't had time to play while here in Japan. If I end up staying in Japan...I'll have those same games. I'll just have to have my parents ship them to me.
Oh, and Koihime Musuo came out today...but I can't get it because MangaGamer's site region locks people with a Japan IP and proxy servers seem to break the ordering system.

None of the ones I've visited have done that. Not that I go to a lot of VN developers' sites though.
EDIT: My hotel today must have a weird IP. It lets me get on one site that blocks Japanese IPs and it half works on MangaGamer (half being that I can re-download previously bought games (which I couldn't last I checke) but still can't buy Koihime Musuo).

Does anybody know about the next Legend of Zelda game? I know a little about it already, of the game having similar graphics to Wind Waker rather than Twilight Princess, and already saw a preview.

I did manage to get Koihime Musuo finally. Found a program that can give me a fake US IP address, which is useful for quite a lot of things. Right now, I probably won't get any more visual novels for a while since I've got a ton of them and no time to play. I might get Eien no Aselia when JAST releases it, but otherwise that'll probably be it till my backlog goes down a bit.

3DS OoT looks beautiful, if you haven't seen the new pictures they're right here. This and Paper Mario are the big ones for me.
