So, Inception was totally awesome. I loved it. I'm going to post another spoiler warning.

Now then. I'd like to discuss the end. Do you think that the Totem was going to stop spinning, or was he still in a dream?

(Recovered.)
Well, I don't know why the controversy over the totem... But since he saw his kid's faces again, I'd say it's obvious that he's not in the dream anymore.

Re: Inception
How did I miss this thread...?
Geez. For one, I actually really hated that ending. They resolved every conflict throughout the whole thing, every character got a fairly good end, and if you paid attention, they even answered most of the questions about the generally trippy nature of dreaming as they proposed it, but it still ended as a cliffhanger. That was totally unnecessary.
And yeah, ok, he saw their faces, happy end yay! ...But did you notice it was the same stock animations of them, even then? Didn't he say it had been something like two years since he had seen them? Wouldn't they have grown at all in that time? But they looked exactly how he remembered them; they used the same exact frames as every time they appeared in-dream, just with faces. It's like they wanted you to think, "Maybe Mol was right...?" at the very end...

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

Re: Inception
Hmm... Then again, Cobb was never able to see his kids for real in the dreams, and in the ending, he did. I don't think it was clear enough over the time span outside of the dreams, which kinda upsets me.

Personally, I think he got out and everything was good. Though yeah, the fact that the kids looked exactly the same, clothes and all, was certainly suspicious. And I totally agree that the cliff hanger ending was unneccessary. Especially since it wasn't really enough of one to spawn a sequel. They just wanted one last thing to get everyone talking... Either way though, Mol couldn't be right. The totem worked before. If Cobb was dreaming at the end, it doesn't mean he was dreaming the entire time. It means he didn't make it out at the very end with everyone else.

Re: Inception
The ending has sparked alot of talk. No lie there have been frame by frame investigation to figure out EXACTLY what happens. Personally, I didn't like it as much as "The Dark Knight"
I just lost the game.
