I like the Water type's design. Cute little otter thing, nothing wrong with that. It's just... why is is colored that way? I don't like the white head thing at all. If it was all blue it would look better.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

I do kindda like the water its probably just the colours that throws me off mainly. I look at it and think 'Couldn't they have come up with something a littl bettter then that for an otter.'

At least since the fire starter is a pig I doubt it'll and up being another fire/fighting hybrid, but I could be wrong for all I know.

I almost like the water starter, but I agree with Silver and Kaida that it's just a little off. If I had to choose one of the three based solely on look, I'd probably take the pig at this point, but I'm curious to see their evolutions.

So, once more, the legendaries look like robots. God-like robots.
Well, the one on the right that is.

What's interesting is that the white one is in Black while the black one is in White.
Also, note, not an NTR labeled game, but a TWL labeled game. It's DSi enhanced.
Good, it's not DSi-only. However, to warn anyone who wants to import it, do not bother if you only have a US/EU DSi. If you have any DS Originals/Lites, it'll run on them.

Maybe you can pilot the black one in a giant robot battle against the white one...

so this time it's a feminine nature spirit(I think) versus a masculine Mecha-Godzilla.

Am I the only one who sees that?

Not so sure about that. But I suppose nature and technology could be the themes for them...

See that avatar?

That is how much I love it. I do have to admit that I like the little piggy(who I shall name Piglet if I want to have a cliche moment) and I also like the otter. I just wish it was in darker shades of blue.

Well, I've been warming up to the Pokemon franchise lately and I've actually been visiting Serebii here and now. For sure, I know there will be another Pokemon movie coming up in Japan with one of the 5th gens.

Theres some new info up on Serebii (sorry Silver) for back and white, I'd copy and past but it doesn't let me.

The second types for the legendarys have been reveald along with 7 new pokemon. And the Professor is female. First female professor in the games. It's about time really.

The white lengendary is Dragon-Fire, I was eeeeing for about 10 minutes, then went to the "I told you so phase" for another couple, then back to eeeing. Definatly getting black now, was going to get it originally cause i like black better then white, the i saw the legendarys and I like the white one better then the black one. And then when I found out it was part fire I went a little balistic. I don't really like any other fire lengendarys, their all alright but they just don't appeal to me. Example, lengendary birds; Articuno > Moltress, Lugia > Ho-oh, and I liek Suicune better then Entie... kindda ironic that Fire is my favorite type yet when it comes to lengendarys there none-fire types that I like more...
And partners quite happy with the black dragon being electric, he just wishs it wasn't so robotic.

I just saw images of some of the new pokemon.
Here is my opinion of them:
Chiramii:Oh god, It out-cutes Pichu.
Munna: It has flowers on its body, and is pink, this was designed for girly-girls in mind.
Gear: ummm, yeah.
Mamepeto:the Isshu region's Pidgey I think.
Hihidaruma: HECK YEAH! FIRE GORILLA BABY!
Shimama: It's like someone made an electric version of Girafarig...
Meguroko:cool.

Also, Zekrom and Reshiram had their types confirmed. Zekrom is a Dragon/Electric and represents Yin, while Reshiram is a Dragon/Fire type and represents Yang, odd since Reshi's so feminine. And Zekro still looks like it has a turbine stuck to it's butt.

I just saw them too, and... wow.... gear pokemon..? seriously..?
And the fire gorilla kinda looks more like a hog, maybe an evolution of the fire starter...
The chinchilla is cute :P and the flowery one... wow.. that's just sad...
The pigeon one... *opens mouth*.... I have no response >>...
I also just noticed this, but, if you look at the white legendary's... lower section, by its feet it looks slightly wrong >>'
...
Nintendo probably should either get more creative or just stop >> I mean, seriously, gear pokemon?!
*sigh*

Because, you know, Magnemite and Magneton are so much more creative than Gear Pokemon.

I don't have any problem with them... it's the new Pidgey that bothers me. No, not because of its design. All I'm saying is, do we really need more? They're all pretty much the same anyway, in terms of types, stats, learned moves... either re-use Pidgey, Spearow, taillow, and Starly, or at least make them interesting. Like Hoothoot! It was a little different, more special oriented than physical, learned stuff like Confusion and Hypnosis... and Wingull! God, I loved Wingull. This new one? Just... the single most generic-looking early game bird yet. Better evolve into something new...

And... the Black Pokemon is "Yin" and the White Pokemon is "Yang". Well, props to Nintendo for not doing what I expected, but... now I'm really not sure which version to get. I can't even keep the contents straight anymore... White Version has the Black Legendary, but it still represents Yin? Um...

The horse (shimama) and mouse/squirrel (chiramii) are kinda cool. But yeah, that has got to be the most generic "basic bird" pokémon ever. Though I can't exactly fault them for running out of ideas. I mean, B/W is bound to raise the total number of pokémon to 600+... As for the gear, meh. So it's gear, so what? If you really want to complain about pokémon designs look at rotom's transformations in Platinum...

Chiramii is adorable (its actually a chinchilla Pokemon apparently) and Shimama looks pretty awesome too, it appears that its a black zebra with white stripes. . . or I think it's meant to be more of a zebra then a horse... theres not much difference when it comes to Pokemon...
I also like Muguroko (crocodile) It looks like it just escaped from jail.

As for Mamepato, I honestly don't see how they could run out of idea's for bird Pokemon, theres hundreds of species of birds that they could go off. Example; Lorikeets (rainbow or scaly), Cockatiels, Galahs, cockatoo, budgerigars, etc. (And Roberts mother has all of these and I think a couple more in her aviry.)
