Hihi All!
Kaida's been busy with work and then Tafe and now she has no job and is job hunting.
Long story short - Kaida wasn't happy in her place of employment and her boss decided to fire one of the other apprentices a week before she went to tafe and tried to force her to go to tafe the five days a week while working the 2 days she was supposed to have off and one of the days she was at tafe. She refused and tried to compromise by saying she'd work one of the days she was supposed to be off but need some time off so she could sleep and get all her assingments done. And then he threathed her with not going to tafe so she tried again and said she'd work the other day she was supposed to have in the morning. So he tried to change her tafe block from may to august with no garutee that she would go in august or even have a job so she cancelled her training contract left and went to tafe for three weeks. And is now jobsearching.

Hi! Good luck, Kaida. Job searching isn't easy these days. At least in the US. Can't say I'm all that knowledgable about Austrailia, other than that you have kangaroos, which are awesome but probably not much help when looking for jobs. 
As for me, I saw the finale of Lost yesterday (and have kinda mixed feelings about it), may go see Shrek 4 today (which I certainly hope is better than 3), and should find out either tomorrow or Wednesday if I'm getting the go-ahead on that mystery project I mentioned a while back.

Hey guys, long time no see! My family moved into our own house (no more renting!) so it's been a frenzy of unpacking. That, and we didn't have internet until yesterday. And with my new job being graveyard shifts and me having to change my sleep schedule, it's been a very tiring week.

Heso! Shrek 4's ok. Humor's great, as always. Plot is... cute and all, but kind of inconsistent with the others. It's a, "What of Shrek was never born?" kinda thing, which leads to "Fiona was never rescued!" but uh... what about Prince Charming? If Shrek didn't do it, he would have... even if he's too wimpy for dragons, he has his Fairy God Mother for that. Also Farquad's anti-Fairy Tale escapades seem to have been completely forgotten, though you could say the new big bad freed them instead, I guess. Well, it's good if you don't think too much about the other movies. The characters definitely made it worth the watch, and many laughs were had.

So for the past few months, I've had these random urges to play Mahjong, specifically Riichi Mahjong. Playing online doesn't help me learn how to play well at all, so I decide to search for a set to buy. At most, it should be $100, right?
...I barely found any place that sells a Riichi set. The places that do have a $70 shipping and handling.
So, asking Josiah specifically, you wouldn't know a good place to buy a Riichi Mahjong set, would you?

Hi! I saw Shrek 4 yesterday. I wasn't bad, though I'd still say that the first two were the best by far. As for Prince Charming and Farquad though, my guess is that, after gaining control of Far Far Away, Rumple dealt with them somehow to get rid of the competition. Huh, I completely forgot about Amazon Japan. That might be my best bet.

Today was SO FREAKING HOT! Coach called off practice (the last practice of the season :( And my last time playing with JV softball since I'm missing the last game tomorrow... sad
) early because SHE was sweating to death, and she wasn't even doing anything. If it's this hot here, how bad will it be in Tennessee....
But... I DON'T CARE IF IT'S HOT I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED TO GO THERE!
Any reccomendations on which state/country pins I should snag and try to trade for? Gonna do my best to get an awesome collection this year :D

Well, I'm flying off to Knoxville, Tennessee in a couple hours, so I won't be able to go on the interwebz. BUT I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED IT'S CRAZY :D :D :D Ooooohhhhhh my God.... I still can't believe we actually did it, we made it to Destination Imagination Global Finals :D :D :D
Hahahahah.... it's so amazing.... I can't wait to get there and compete and take pictures and pin trade and meet people from around the world and pin trade and be with other insane DI people and pin trade and eat food and compete and pin trade and play improv games and go swimming and pin trade and dear lord this is so freaking exciting :D :D :D :D

Depression has been doing interesting things to my taste in music, so over the past few weeks I've started getting into Slipknot, and finding out that a lot of their stuff is actually really, really good. Before I Forget is probably one of my favourite songs of all time... and then I find out that Slipknot's bassist, Paul Gray, died two days ago. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go find a corner to cry in...

I'm surprised Amazon Japan won't ship mahjong sets to the US. I thought they'd do just about everything other than CDs, DVDs, and video games. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the whole free shipping thing doesn't apply to orders from the US. Actually, if I remember right, there's an extra charge to ship to the US beyond the actual shipping cost.
It's great for getting English books when you're actually in Japan though. If you do find a really good deal on Amazon Japan, some of those "middle man" sites I mentioned (like this one) will order things from Amazon Japan (or other Japanese online stores) for you and then ship them to you.
