GAH! So the final .hack game came out in Japan last month, hopefully to arrive here in the next year or two. Seeing as this was the finale, it's no real surprise that CC2 (the company that first thought it up) got sold off to EA Games. What is a surprise is that immediately after buying up a company that had mentioned several times that this was a finale to the series, EA Games said "you can look forward to many .hack games in the future!" Wonder how long it'll take them to butcher the series, seeing as it's supposed to be over and all.

No more tests! One paper to write up for Tuesday, and then it's just me and my exams. Can't wait to go home!

Hi! That's interesting. I don't think any US publisher has bought a Japanese developer before... Anyway, hope everyone enjoyed KotF this year. Also, happy April Fools! Not that I'm doing anything for it...

Hey.

The school tried to trick us into thinking we had an early release, but I didn't fall for it for a second. A bunch of people did, though, it was amusing.

And I never finished the 3rd comic that I was gonna enter because I really didn't feel the drive to do so considering there was no one else who posted a comic... *waits semi-pateintly for results of KotF*

Alrighty, just gotta get through softball practice today, then I get to go to UBER DI PRACTICE OF AWESOME!!! Then practicing trumpet for my duet on Easter Sunday with this professional dude and MORE DI PRACTICE YAY :D :D :D

THEN STATES ON SATURDAY AT WPI OMG SO EXCITED!

However... we learned something interesting about States... kind of interested as to how it's gonna turn out...

Oh, what? KotF is over? o3o
Hi again guys. 8D
/spontaneously decided on the first day of KotF not to post in Saying Hi for the entire duration for no reason whatsoever

Yeah, so, uh, I got my SoulSilver Version yesterday and instantly spent several hours in nostalgia land. <3
Unfortunately I sorta forgot to bring my sister's DS to school with me, so I can't trade SS starters to my Pearl version, restart the game, and pick another starter.../sigh
A friend with HG is trying to help me by trading over Wi-Fi, but my DS model apparently has very very very bad wireless sensitivity, so that's not working... ;_;

*Coughs* So it turns out that my earlier statement was a little wrong. I totally forgot today was April Fool's day, and apparently that's the prank CC2 decided to pull this year  I'm way too gulliable. I fall for almost everything, every year. My roommate told me today that he's somewhat illiterate and I believed him! Gah, I've proofed his essays before, he kicks butt at writing. :drop2:

Hey.

Well, I'm always glad when April Fool's day is over so I can let down my guard... kind of paranoid on that day, and even so I do tend to fall for silly stuff. Didn't really get tricked this year, though. Whoo.

So... bunch of DI practicing today for States tomorrow :D :D :D :D :D I am so incredibly excited, it's insane. So, so so excited. I doubt I'll sleep tonight. But I still will sleep. Just probably have nightmares about how I got lost on the way to States and didn't get there in time... already had several of those dreams already :P

It's so amazingly exciting, though :D

Hi! Good luck, Saber!

I'm generally pretty good at spotting April Fools jokes, though I didn't see all that many yesterday. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough... Guild Wars had a couple of pretty awesome ones though, as usual.

On another note, KotF winners have been determined and will be announced either tonight or tomorrow morning once I get the award images made.

Heso! I haven't fallen for an April Fool in years... although recently, Colly and I have started following some Japanese websites. They tend to reach April Fool's Day earlier than we do, so it can be a bit confusing when they pull a a prank at 9 PM the 31st of March. But yeah... I didn't notice too many good pranks. Walfas.org had a good one - a total redesign of the site layout to match Nico Nico Douga. As always, Arts Angel pulled one that could fool you if you're not paying attention. Since I went there specifically looking for an April Fool's joke, well... Then DeviantART apparently changed everyone's avatars to a more Twilight themed variety, which I honestly do find to be a nice troll on their part. GameFAQs had a poll, "What did you think of this year's April Fools joke?" and over 80% of the votes went to "I don't get it, what am I missing?" ...There wasn't one. The poll was the April Fool's joke. I thought Josiah was pretty funny too, making you people think that you got bonus points when really they all went to me...

And that's about it. Not much else this year.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

That's awesome! Congratulations Saber, that's incredible! ;-D

On a less exciting note, my roommate went home so I've been tired and bored all day. Easter on campus just isn't as exciting as Easter back home.

'Ello! Back and staying (I hope...).

That's really impressive, Saber. Congratulations! :D

I'm on spring break right now, and I'm going to St. Louis tomorrow to visit a college. It's hard for me to believe that in a couple of years, I'll (probably) be going to college. Time passes too quickly sometimes. :x
On that note, one of my sisters thinks I should actually take a year off after graduating from high school and do some traveling, internship, etc. My mom disagrees and wants me to go to college right after high school. I'm still indecisive. Any opinions? :x

Hi! Very cool, Saber. Congrats!

To answer your question Fausty... It partly depends how your financial situation is. If you want to try and save up some extra money before college, taking some time off to work or do an internship might be a good idea. If money doesn't matter... I wouldn't bother with an internship, as most of the really good ones seem to be reserved for actual college students studying whatever said internship is about (which is why many internships are scheduled over summer break). Traveling is always fun and interesting but can potentially be rather costly. Also, an entire year of traveling could be a bit much if that's all you're doing. Keep in mind that you can always take a year off after college as well (before either going on to university or starting your career) and you'll have more options open to you then (such as teaching English in Japan, like I did, which requires a Bachelor's degree).

Anyone have any theorys cause one of the other apprentices and I are stumped.

Heso! Happy Zombie Jesus Day, people! So I did all the traditional Easter stuff... we died eggs, got candy, played King of the hill and Mario party... what do you mean that's not tradition? No one asked you, shut up.
