School Project Survey PLEASE HELP!!!
I have a lot of projects left. One has a survey. The survey is below.
Do you believe in Bigfoot? Why or Why Not?
I need at least ten people to answer.

No. There doesn't seem to be enough evidence to support it (at least no more than some iffy evidence that is).

Thanks, Nab. Well, I'm going to bed. I probably won't be on tomorrow. Night, everybody!

Ditto what Nab said. If Bigfoot actually existed, we'd probably have some much better evidence. I mean, it's not like he's said to live in the middle of an African jungle or something where strange creatures could actually remain hidden indefinately.
Re: School Project Survey PLEASE HELP!!!
No worries, glad to help
I remember posting surveys on the forum here back in grade 12... ah nostalgia.... Which class is this for anyways?

Re: School Project Survey PLEASE HELP!!!
I was just talking about this yesterday... well, I believe in Bigfoot, for one. I used to work with him! His name's Hector. ...Shame none of you get that...
Eh, I can't say that Bigfoot doesn't exist, though... Devil's Proof, you know? Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean you can prove it's not real. Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Loch Ness Monster are all real, too.
Definitely.

"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

It's for Language Arts, Nab. It's an essay on assessing reliability. I believe in the Loch Ness monster. That lake is to deep for us to search, and there are a lot of caves. It's probably just a trapped Plesiosaur. Thanks for your input, everyone!

Re: School Project Survey PLEASE HELP!!!
I'm a bit more inclined to believe in the Loch Ness monster than Bigfoot, just cause of the difficulty in searching the lake, but I'm not entirely sold on it either.

From what you see and hear about it, it seems like it would be a Plesiosaur, though.

Re: School Project Survey PLEASE HELP!!!
I actually did a report on that once, and I'm pretty sure it's not a plesiosaur. There's plenty of evidence against that theory, just on the grounds that one plesiosaur couldn't survive for so long, which would indicate that there's more than one, in which case corpses would have been found and they would have to eat way more than the fish that would be available to them there. Everything else would go extinct if there was something like that.
However, there is plenty of support for the idea that there's something down there that shouldn't be. I've seen people suggest that it's a seal, or a giant tuna, or a whale, or any number of aquatic species that doesn't normally exist in Loch Ness... I kinda like the Bull Shark theory myself. It's big, it's scary, it has sharp teeth, and although they're not native to the area, they can survive in fresh water, unlike most other suggestions. It's not uncommon for Bull Sharks to travel up river and they're pretty unpredictable, not to mention aggressive. The only problem is that they pretty much exclusively live in warm water and Loch Ness is pretty far north, but... unpredictable.
There's also the River Shark. They're not as big, but they live in fresh water, they're rare, and are pretty mysterious. There are people that think there are a lot more sub-species than we currently know about, but since they're so elusive they haven't been discovered. Hmm, elusive sea creatures we haven't discovered... I wonder...
tl;dr: There is evidence that something strange lives in Loch Ness, but it is not a dinosaur.

Hmm I think nessy is more believable but when it comes to big foot I think it would be what you consider a big foot to be. Big unknown monkey for human/missing link? As fair as it goes to it being human/missing link no,as in for big unknown or thought to be dead monkey?Yes I think so.
Hope that helps!
