Anyway I find it amusing, Death Bear has easily become my favorite character. There was a couple strips I liked but i can't find them now. But year I think Care Bears gone bad just about sums it up.
Redback, Funnel-Web, Blue-ringed octopus
Taipan, Tigersnake and a Box jellyfish
Stonefish and the poison thing that lives in a shell
That spikes you when you pick it up
It's well drawn and it's got a much different setting than most web comics I read, so it's a nice change of pace. And yeah, Care Bears gone bad sums things up pretty well. It's not really my type of humor though, so I probably won't keep reading.
Very nicely drawn, and a creative idea. Funny, but not really my style of humor. All the same, I did enjoy it. And, yes, Death Bear is the man.
May the Triforce be with you.
"To love another person is to see the face of God." ~ Victor Hugo
"Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid." ~ William Ernest Henley
Interesting. The characters are pretty well established, and I like the interactions. The humor is lackluster comparatively, and repetitive at times. It makes my list of followings until I decide to clean it up (which I really ought to do).
Hmm... This signature just got really short... Blastitar♂ (Water) Attacks: Bite, Water Gun, Crunch, Rock Slide (Wins 15, Losses 0) Torrent&Shed Skin
Sandiyama♂ (Ground, Fighting) Tackle, Vital Throw, Swift, Arm Thrust (Wins 8, Losses 0) Guts&Sand Veil
Swalectrode (Electric, Poison) Attacks: Yawn, Tackle, Sludge, Screech (Wins 5, Losses 0) Exp:30 Static&Liquid Ooze Status: Lost T.T
Yeah, I find it kind of interesting that while on one side it's a slapstick comedy with plently of running gags, but on the other there's characters that aren't restricted to one dimensional personalities. Not to mention they actually have character development (Nerd standing up for himself) and backstories, like how Evil became who he is in the comic (wheras other authors might simply attribute this behavior in their character to them being a sociopath).
Death is one of my favorite characters as well, but I have to say Tanked is the absolute funniest, by his facial expressions alone (like the ones he makes in this comic, which also features Death's cool death powers ).
Geez, I had started reading this a while ago, but I forgot to post on it...
So yeah, humor's ok, but not really my style. I do like the characters for the most part, keeping in mind that they're a surprisingly accurate social commentary. And the art is fine, of course. Not a bad comic at all, but it's not my style.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate." Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.
