The forums were down for me, too, yesterday. I tend not to be too concerned over that kind of thing unless it goes on for several hours, though. And once it starts going missing for at least a day, I get really worried.
Nothing of note happening. Spending 30 minutes in a dining hall before my next class. Well, before the remaining half hour before class, since I still need to go out there on my bike and get to the right lecture hall. So I'm just...reading stuff on the web...unforunately, TV Tropes went down just now, so I'm looking for other things to read.

Forums were definitely down for me too. Nothing too exciting happened on my end lately, although any fellow Magic fanatics may be amused by my new card sleeves featuring the artwork of Black Lotus (one of the Power Nine) on the back

Ooooohmigosh! Black Lotus! That's AWESOME! I didn't know about this whole "Power Nine" thing.... but, I do know about Black Lotus! My friend had a strategy with it... that is, if he ever got his hand on that card, he had a strategy that would use it if he was lucky enough to draw that card and... a few others... on his first hand. Hi! Yeah, the forums were down for a while. Something with the server, I think. I don't know enough about SQL to get into the technical stuff but my host usually fixes that type of stuff pretty quickly. I don't actually get on their case about it unless they're down for more than a day (which is rare, since it's usually fixed in a couple hours or so).
Nothing exciting here. Spent yesterday fixing computer stuff for my parents. Today it's job applications and I'll do my best to sneak in a bit of time with Bayonetta when I can.

Heso! As I recall, there was also a fair bit of downtime that went along with that.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."

Hi! Actually a lot of the downtime resulting from the time warp was due to restoring backup files in the hope that they wouldn't be three months out of date (which it turned out they were). But yeah, that whole mess was a result of a really bad server error combined with a backup system that acted like it was working when it really wasn't. My host has assured everyone that it'll never happen again. But, just in case, I since started making my own forum backups every week or two so even if my host does crash and burn, we won't lose too much.

Very smart thinking Josiah, I always do a backup of my computer whenever I add anything important onto it (like family photos or homework etc).
So I found out that the card store in town (the one that sells Black Lotus for $800+) has boxes upon boxes of cards for sale on top of the glass container of rares. I'm going in tonight to see if he has some of the cards I need to really pump up my fungus deck

Hi! My work breakdown this week, just because...
Sunday: Unpacked everything.
Monday: Updated portfolio, resume, etc.
Tuesday: Got "recruited" to spend the day fixing and tuning up my parents' computers.
Wednesday: Realized I didn't have anything about Ink in my portfolio, so I added a section for it. Got a haircut so I could get a nice photo for my Japanese resume (they usually want photos in a very specific style).
Thursday: Finally started on job applications. Applied to all of my favorite US companies.
Friday: Got stuck doing errands this morning and, since my mom isn't back from her sky trip yet, I need to spend a good part of the afternoon cooking for tomorrow's potluck.
In other words, job applications are going slower than I'd like. Oh well, my mom will be back tonight and she can deal with the phone, errands, and the like after that so hopefully I can more of less finish up my applications next week. I figure a day or two to send in Japanese applications (maybe longer since I'll have to translate their web sites and quite possibly hand write some applications as I go) and another two or three days to hit up every US studio I can think of. Maybe after that I'll finally have a good bit of time in which to play games...
