Turns out the philosophy class I'm taking is all about how to properly argue,

So, I went to school yesterday, and I was halfway through the door when I thought "Wait...where'd this door come from?"

There's a whole bunch of new doors. Like, for the cafeteria and bathrooms and some of the exits. They musta done it over break. But its so weird, cause we're all used to the old broken doors, and now we have ones that actually work. Might take a little getting used to.


Nice to hear you got snow, Nab. Hope you get snow too, Aura. It's cold enough here for us to get snow, but we're lacking the precipitation.

What's the name of the class? We probably have a similar one here. My friend's a philosophy major, I should ask him. Rhetorics really should be taught sooner, the world could use a new argument strategy than that of ad hominems.

I haven't seen Land Before Time in a long time. Maybe I could watch it sometime in between watching classic Disney movies.

And I think I can finally say I am completely well (physically) for the first time since the Sunday after getting home from college. A bunch of my friends are still in high school so I missed seeing them over their break. Ah well.

Well, life is still being a jerk to me. MusicMaker would know, but she really doesn't seem to post in much other than the Anime section a bit, and her intro thread . Things SHOULD be getting better.... else me staying up 'til midnight thirty yesterday was pointless. I really need to cut that out... I've had several conversations keeping me up past midnight, and a couple past 1. Ah well.... school is also getting tougher and tougher... well, mainly Enriched Algebra II/III. Currently have an A-... need to bring that up, because I know I can do better. Got a quest tomorrow in math, so... hopefully I'll do better than the last quest and test. An A on this should bring my average back to an A.

Hi! I'm back from New Zeland! The return trip went pretty well...until they lost my suitcase and my parents' suitcases at the end. They'd better find it soon...

Anyway, I'll be catching up on all things forum related sometime between tomorrow and the end of the weekend (gotta fit a drive to CO in there at some point as well).

But this quarter seems to be a real nasty. Monday and Friday, 10 AM class. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8 AM class. - -
And all five days finish at 4:50 PM.

The things that amuse me sometimes amuse me.

Welcome back Josiah! I find they usually get stuff back... Eventually. And if you're lucky they deliver it to your house. Yes, it's happened to us too. The same trip in which we missed our connection because they refused to delay the next flight after our first was delayed if I remember right. When we asked if we could make our connection, the flight attendant said "Er, Run you can make it." Not even joking. The plane left half an hour ago, and we had to sleep in the airport.

I can say I like my schedule, but some of the classes concern me. I got my schedule to be limited to a weekly schedule of 6 classes Monday, 1 Tuesday, 6 Wednesday, and 4 Friday. I've been told I'm crazy many times for this. Also, nothing earlier than 9, but I always wake up at 7 anyway, so I can take full advantage of the local all-you-can-eat dining hall. Now that I think of it, I think I would prefer a quarter system.

My games club is made of love. It's gotten me back into Magic: the Gathering, which I haven't really been able to play for several years now since the store in the town I used to live in closed down. I've spent almost all of my free time going through my decks and either restructuring them or outright breaking them apart, not to mention reorganizing my binder. I have a ridiculous amount of Magic cards
