Re: Games I've Played Recently
Josiah needs to get around to finishing Dissida on his PSP as well. Though he currently seems to be preoccupied with getting all the level 99 equipment in Dissidia. Josiah has also completed more of Final Fantasy IV The After Years and now has only three chapters remaining, though he may take a break to play Assassin's Creed II first.

I seem to be spending more and more time enjoyin the greatness that is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I must admit, I think I am getting better at the game, especially with two new members to my list of characters I love to play, Bowser and Lucas.

Re: Games I've Played Recently
I seem to have played a few more games since my last grouping of words, the following games are the games that of which have been played by me on either my laptop, game boy with color images, my dual screen light (which, in its current state can only play the version of games known as game boy advance) and my dual screen i, the name of the 'i' is that of which I do not know, but here is the list of games that they have been used to play on:
Super Mario 64 DS
Pokemon Platinum Version
Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland
Kirby Super Star Ultra
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals
Rayman 2: The Great Escape
Kirby Squeak Squad
Final Fantasy III
Final Fantasy IV
And that concludes that lits of games I have played recently.

Having unfortunately never played a final fantasy game in my entire life, I would appreciate it, NintendoGamer, if you would elaborate on how entertaining you find the final fantasy games you are currently playing.

Re: Games I've Played Recently
Well, AK, I only have the ROMS on my laptop for I lost the games sometime ago, I left them in my house in America and fear they are gone, I do not remember much of the story that I played and I have only recently started both of those two games right now, I'm only at the beginning but so far I am enjoying it quite well! They are both very well made games, along with all the other games I have stated in my above post, they are all very in-depth and very entertaining games!

Re: Games I've Played Recently
AuraKnight, you should keep in mind that there's 12 entries in the main Final Fantasy series, along with numerous spin-offs. Naturally, a lot has changed over the years. For example, the first three Final Fantasy games used a turn-based battle system, instead of the active time battles used in the later games. Also, the first three games were fairly light on story (compared to modern games anyway, the stories were quite good for their time). The old FFs are still great classic RPGs, but not a good representation of what the series is these days. FFIV was a huge step forward, introducing an epic (if rather melodramatic) story and active time battles, among other things. Though it still had some legacy issues left over from the old games, such as the fact that frequent grinding is often a requirement if you want to advance the story.
Personally, if you've never played an FF game before, I'd recommend starting with one in the VI - XII range (excluding XI, which is a MMO). All of them are excellent games and have lots of fans, especially VI and VII, though my personal favorites are VIII and X. IV and V are pretty good too, but I wouldn't put them on the same level as the later entries. And I, II, and II are all great classic RPGs, but they're old classic RPGs and have all the trappings of such, as I already detailed in the above paragraph. Of course, if you have a PS3, XIII will be hitting the US in March and is looking extremely awesome. Though, if you do have a PS3 (or PSP, for that matter) you can pick up the awesome FFVII off the Playstation store for a reasonable price.
The FF games are, in general known for the following: top quality graphics (for their time, of course), some of the best soundtracks in games, incredibly deep stories filled with memorable characters, and great character development systems.

Just thought I'd add that while Final Fantasy 13 and it's partner Final Fantasy 13: Versus will be coming to the PS3, Final Fantasy 13 will also be coming to the Xbox 360. Note that I said 13 and not 13: Versus.
Also, there's Final Fantasy Agito 13 which will come to the PSP in Japan, but anywhere else is still TBA.

Meh. I suppose Agito XIII will probably come out here on the PSP too. Eventually...
And yeah, regular XIII will be on the 360 too in the US, but I couldn't care less. I suspect it'll be all scaled down and everything since the 360 doesn't have blue-ray or as much processing power as the PS3, or something like that. And, thanks to the stupid 360 version, they decided not to release a demo of XIII in the US, since it would have only been on PS3 and that wouldn't have fair. Not that I mind or anything. ((Screw that, be apathetic day or not, the US not getting the demo did make me mad. Stupid 360...))

Re: Games I've Played Recently
Plus FF13 for the PS3 will be on one blue ray disc, while FF13 for the 360 will be on "several" discs. I heard that the ratio of a regular disc (that the 360 uses) to the space on a blue ray (that the PS3 uses) is something like 6:1. That's a lot of discs for those 360 users.

Duel layer blue-ray disc = 50GB
Duel layer DVD = around 8GB
So yeah, not that I really care, but the 360 version will either have a ton of discs or lower quality sound and graphics to reduce the required disc space.

I've been playing Halo 2 on my friend's laptop recently.
Not that I care, though, because I have a life.

I have been working on the process of taking apart my Gold Version because I am going to attempt to fix it, although you nor I probably care that much about it.

Re: Games I've Played Recently
I'd suggest you finish fixing you gold version very quickly, before the Wobbas find it, as it represents to them Human control over Wobbas.
Because there's a giant list of stuff I want to do before the Wobbas take over, I played some adventure mode in Brawl with one of my friends last night, on Intense mode. We died six or seven times, and that was only the first level. I hope the Wobbas don't prey on my weaknesses in Brawl....
