The forums went done because some SQL setting got changed, preventing public access to anything on my server using SQL (which the forums do). The main PV site went down (though for a much shorter time) because the index file mysterious disapeared. Not sure what caused either of those things in the first place though.

Well, I've got to go run some errangs and then put the finishing touches on my thesis. I'll probably get on at some point tomorrow but, in case I'm late, happy Thanksgiving to Siler, Saber, Poik, Stevenson, and all the other US members!

Urg...I just watched the season finale for the 11th season of Columbo. Each episode is about 90 mins long roughly and I've been watching them since last fall. I love this show so much and there's only one season left to watch

So I just had a mental breakdown in front of my mom. Don't worry. We made up and everything. But I still wish they would all stop playing their stupid game. The game of "Whose life sucks more anyway?" Who pays the most bills, who provides the most money, and my most personal favorite: Who had the worst day? Of course then there's my perspective on things. Where the only winning move is to not play.

I don't mind having guests over all the time. In fact it keeps me from feeling totally alone. I dunno. What do you kids think?

I can't really offer an opinion, though, since my family has generally been pretty easy-going, and now that I'm in college, I only have to deal with roommates. I'm pretty good about keeping myself entertained when I'm alone, so I usually don't feel lonely, even if there's no one else around.

Just took a Japanese placement test to see which course I should be taking; since I took three years of it in high school, I probably shouldn't start in first year Japanese. Turns out I scored 75/120, which puts me in the second year, third quarter class. I'm kind of surprised I made it that far up.

Hi! HAPPY THANKSGIVING! My school's party starts in a bit over an hour and, before that, I want to run out an grab a newspaper so I can see if there's gonna be any good sales tomorrow, but I've got a little time to kill at the moment.

Sorry things aren't so good, Atma. My family is generally pretty happy and/or content so I can't totally relate. But I will say that pity parties and feeling sorry for yourself never helped anyone. As corny as it sounds, you really will feel better if you stay out of things like that and try to keep a positive attitude.
