Round 4: The Village of Shadows

[Siranae]

A thimble? What the hell am I going to do with a thimble? Ah, crap. Sira mumbled to herself as she pushed the thimble around her palm with her pointer finger. Well, I guess the Super Sense is kind of cool. She shrugged. Could have been worse.

[Dark Gentleman]

D.G. looked down at his new pin cushion and pulled several pins from it. "I wonder if infinite pin cushion means it will replace any pins I pull from it or if I can put as many pins into it as I want, or something else entirely? Oh well, I guess I'll figure that out later." D.G. said as he put the pulled pins into his pocket. Then he decided to try out his super speed by waving his free hand as fast as he could for a few seconds. "Interesting..." He said as he stoped moving his now tired hand. "I think I'm gonna like this power."

[Winters Rage]

((Aww, I didn't get mine yet, oh well, I guess I can wait, got many games to play now that I can :P so I actually might now be so active ))

Chris looked at Kaida just after she stopped glowing Aww... crap... He said, knowing his luck, he wouldn't be able to look away but then D.G. caught his eye. "Wow... That.. That is incredibly fast... I wish I had gotten that power ._." He said looking around at everyone else, making sure not to look at Kaida again, then said more to himself than anyone else. "I wonder what I'm going to get..." Obviously more amused by the powers than the items.

Kako walks over to Eclectric and W.S. "Look I got glowing eyes." Smiles. "I bet these will come in handy at night."

[Kaida]

"Super Sexiness? This power is going to get so abused." Kaida said as she checked herself out, She already had natural curves, even if they were still developing, but she imagined this is what she'd probably look like curve-wise in a couple years, particularly in the chestal area. Which she wasn't too keen on because it would cause problems when she had kids eventually.

After she finished checking herself out Kaida held the Bazooka at different angles to examine it more closely.

[Saber Knight]

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!"

It was quite some time before Mickey's surprised screaming subsided. After all, playing trumpet for a few years really builds up one's stamina.

"Fwa? Wha? HUH?!" Mickey was really quite flabbergasted. "This just makes NO SENSE! Even more so than the usual stuff that goes on around here!"

After she had (slightly) calmed down, Mickey decided to try and shift back into her preferred female form. She closed her eyes and concentrated, and she felt her self shift (it was really an odd sensation) back. "Aaaah, and the world makes sense again!... well, sort of, at least."

[Josiah]

"And the young man here will be getting a Ridiculously Absorbant Sponge, 50% off while supplies last, and Fire Power!!!"

A fairly ordinary looking sponge drifted down in Takeru's hands as little tongues of flame began to dance between his finger tips. ((Fire Power is similiar to the Fire Flower in Mario Brothers.))

"Ah, good to see another team member who has been here from the beginning! Zanther will be heading out with a Grappling Gun and the power of X-Ray Vision!"

Zanther caught the gun, which was the size of a large pistol and appeared to fire a strong cord with a grappling hook at the end. There was also a button to retract the cord. While he was examining it, there was a bright flash, momentarily blinding him. When his vision returned, he discovered that, if he concentrated, he could see through objects, much like Superman.

"Interesting, interesting... Looks like this one got a Bottomless Bag of Popcorn and the power of Chameleon Skin!"

Chris suddenly found himself holding a large bag of popcorn. A rainbow light shown around him and, when it vanished, he discovered that he could change the color of his skin at will.

"Next up, we have a young man with a Really Really Really Big Hammer and the power of Wall Climbing!"

Eclectric was nearly hit in the head with a giant wooden mallet. There was a brief flash of light around him, but no obvious changes once it vanished. ((Wall Climbing allows you to cling to walls Spiderman style.))

"And, in a rather unfortunate combination, it looks like the next contestant ended up with Big Flashing Red Light and the Power of Invisibility. Good luck with that!!!"

Capperoff ended up with a brightly flashing red light about eight inches tall and six inches across. A moment later his body seemed to fade away until he could no longer be seen (except for the light, which continued to flash brightly). He sensed that he could turn become visible and invisible whenever he wanted.

"And this young man here just got out of orientation! He's starting out with a pillow and, once again, X-Ray Vision!!!"

A pillow dropped gently onto Tod's head. It was soft, blue, and very ordinary looking. Like Zanther, he also found that, when he concetrated, he could see through objects.

((Once again, you're free to post reactions to your spins. I'll actually be sending everyone through the portal to the location where the round will take place on Sunday, since I said I'd give people until the end of the week to spin the wheels.))

((Oh, and since Kaida was examing the bazooka. It's about three feet long and made of some kind of strong but light metal. There's a trigger to fire, a button that says "reload" and a crosshairs (which actually contains a little screen that can zoom in on targets).))

[Eclectric]

"I think they look cute on you Kako," Eclectric said as he examined his new mallet. "I don't know why, but I feel an uncontrollable urge to say this... Super Fist of the Really Really Big Hammer!" Eclectric held the mallet up in the air triumphantly.

[Winters Rage]

"I don't even like popcorn ._." Chris said to himself, then his skin started to 'disappear' "Waaa! What's happening??"
...Chameleon Skin!" (couldn't find the same color, sorry J.)
"Ohhh... That would explain it... AWESOME!" He said as he was completely invisible, well, except for the popcorn. "I love this game!" He stated, obviously very amused with his power.

((FYI, Chris can't actually turn invisible. He can change his skin color (and pattern it, to some degree), which can help him blend in to the background, but he can't make it invisible. Also, his clothes and hair are uneffected, only his skin changes.))

Chris looked into the mirror to see the he was not completely invisible, only his skin, therefor he was basically a pair of clothes walking around with hair and popcorn, and a slight outline of a human. "I bet I can find some way around this....." He thought to himself more than anyone else.

((FYI, things went late last night so I'm a bit behind on stuff today. Depending on how long it takes me to catch up, I may have to delay sending you guys through the portal until tomorrow.))

((To answer BFC, yes Capperoff's invisibility works on his clothes and whatever is in his pockets, but nothing else. So he can be completely invisible, as long as he isn't carrying anything. As for the light, you can't leave it on the stage, but if you really don't want it you're free to drop, toss, or otherwise throw it away after you've gone through the portal.))

Meanwhile, Richard was examining all the uses of the knife, trying to make himself familiar with it's seemingly endless uses. This all seems pretty cool, maybe I could get used to this! He thought.

Capperroff put the flashing light in his pocket after turning it off, and then snuck over and grabbed Chris's popcorn, immediately putting it in his pocket.

Ha Ha! It worked! Here you go, Chris. he said as he gave it back after putting a ton into a container in his backpack.
