Pokemon Spirits

[Quick!]

Years ago, scientists of Team Rocket discovered an island where they thought only humans inhabited. After studying them from afar, they soon discovered that the humans could turn into imitations of pokemon! It appears that these 'humans' are the lost race of Pokeyians, a myth that is thrown around from generation to generation. Being as evil as they are, Team Rocket attacked the Pokeyians, trying to capture as many as possible. The Pokeyians were not weak, defending their kin against the Rockets and their pokemon. After a grueling battle, the Rockets unfortunately were able to sneak several of the Pokeyians away onto their boat before torching and leaving the island. The Pokeyians watched helplessly....knowing it is forbidden to leave their island, as the boat sailed away.

Now years have passed and our characters are used for 'experiments'.....which translates into 'is thrown into a battle ring and has to fight the other Pokeyian for food and water'. So our characters are forced t battle one another so the Rockets can bet on us, but of course, soon, escape will be possible, to get back to the island.

Now to explain what Pokeyians are;
Pokeyians are a mythical race of humans who have been granted to powers of pokemon because each Pokeyian has a soul bound to them of a pokemon. Then, when they come to a certain age, they can transform into an imitation of that pokemon (So they'll resemble the pokemon, but there might be a flaw like a different colour, size, scars, extra horn or tail, etc) and also their power level increases. Until then, the Pokeyian can use attacks that their normal pokemon spirit can learn (So if you have the spirit of a Charmander you can use ember, scratch, metal claw, etc) and maybe even ones they can learn.....
Last thing to mention - all types are equally strong and weak to one another, so no one has an advantage at the moment.

Name: Pierce
Age: 19
Appearance: 6 foot tall guy that usually wears a black top and jeans (when allowed). Has blonde hair kinda arced upwards in the middle and both ears pierced (Hence the name).
Personality: Has a lot of rage built up in him and so far the only way to express it is by attacking the other Pokeyian, but it never fills the void.

Name: Ruavuso
Age: 19
Appearance: Ruavuso has white hair with straight bangs, going to just under her chin and hiding her left ear. Her eyes are reddish-brown, and she wears a small dark blue oval-shaped object on her forehead, above her eyebrows (it hasn't been confiscated yet 'cause the Rockets don't know what it's made of, or if it's valuable). She stands at 5' 11" and wears a white halter-top and white capris (though these are often not perfectly white, due to her living conditions). She also has a pair of dark blue wrist bands and anklets, and either goes barefoot or wears a pair of dark blue sandals. Her skin tone is slightly darker than average.
Personality: She keeps a cool head in most situations. In the battle rings, however, she tends to rely more on taking out an opponent with pure offense rather than weakening them with status effects.

Cool, guess I'll join this RP too ^.^ here's my Bio: (I might edit it a bit as I'm just trying to get basic's down)

Name: Chris (my main RP name)
Age: 14
Appearance: Chris has shoulder height, Blue-ish hair, he is approximately 5'4'', eyes as blue as the sky on a clear day, extremely shy in most situations, tends to stick to defending and finding the foes weaknesses then exploiting them for a 1 hit KO in most situations, though, it should be noted he usually only gets to fight weak foes. He is usually very clumsy and will sometimes stagger from loss of balance, he tends to also walk on his toes, as if imitating a cat. He wears a mysterious neckless around his neck that is the shape of a rain-drop and is almost white, with a slight tint of blue, it is usually hidden under his blue hoodie though, it has not been confiscated yet, for, the first time a Rocket touched it, they were instantly frozen.
He wears a blue-ish hoodie like shirt, dark blue gloves and scarf, his pants are also a dark blue. (Pretty much what my avatar looks like right now.)
Personality: Shy, will usually stick to defending and and dodging in the ring, keeps from using force or violence unless absolutely necessary.
Spirit: Glaceon (best pokemon ever)

Appearance: Her body is covered all the way with tattoos and has a neck piece that has spikes on the edge. She wears a tight black shirt that has a heart cut out of it on the back. Her pants are red with cuts up and down the legs, and has black shoes. She also has a hat that holds her 7" of hair which is black. Her eyes are red with a hint of blue.
Personality: She is always trying to protect others that needs help, but she will fight back if someone tries to hurt her. If anyone touches her neck piece, her anger will go to rage for protecting it.

Laughter echoed down the hallway where the caged Pokeyians rested.
In one particular cell, a young lad rested as blood trickled down the front of his face.
I wonder what freedom is like... he thought to himself as he tended to his wounds. Losing the fight costed him a weeks worth of food. I hope I win next one.... His stomach growled from pain.

He sat there, waiting....

"I have to think of a plan... a plan to escape... soon... I can't stand living like this any longer..." He thought quietly to himself.

Ruavuso sat leaning against one side of her cage, knees drawn to her chest and hands clasped above her ankles. Her food dish--scraped clean--and water cup were lined up neatly against an adjacent side of the wall. She gazed unseeingly at the spot where one of the bars melded into the cage ceiling, waiting for her captors to begin picking out the night's competitors. It had already happened so many times, she had long since ceased feeling any apprehension or anxiety over it. Just another step in the routine that was her life.

Sitting on her bed, Ellen moved her hand over her foot. The last battle was hard on her, but she didn't use all of her powers. Still, she lost the fight and another week of no food. Ellen's stomach ached and she wasn't happy to lose. "This is the second week with no food, I'm hungry."Ellen said to herself. If she used all her power, she would be used more and more. But Ellen felt guilty for holding back to just let the others win. "They need the food more than I do, even if it's a small amount.

I hate this. Were treated like beasts. Marluxia thought.The same thought that had been buzzing around in his head for months.He tried prying on the cell bars hoping half-heartedly that the bars would somehow give way and he could get out of there.
