And haha, for NPCs, yeah I suppose Goblins would be pretty fun to mess with... I probably shouldn't be judging though since I'm not moving the plot along. x]

Uh, can I join? I want to ask a couple of questions before I get to join, though. Are dragons availible? If so, what is their opinion of the other races and vice versa, and are they Element Crafters or magic users? Also, can I have a quick overview of what happened so far? I tried to earlier, but the loads and loads of characters got me confused.

To be honest, we're still in the stages of getting our characters to meet up, so nothing much happened.
If you still want a summary, though...

Gilantias and Arielli (SK's angels) leave the angel city to find a quiet place to read. They are accosted by the angel Mevan (Eclectric), and their ensuing conversation awakens Kagetsuki (Neo Zanther), a griffin, who tells them off for disturbing him. Wodahny (me), a human mercenary, hears voices and wakes up. She tries spying on them but is discovered by all three angels. Iah (me again) happens to come across them at this pont. Mevan and Kagetsuki excuse themselves and vanish. Gilantias, Arielli, and Iah land to converse with Wodahny properly.
Elsewhere, Evrona (SK) is walking through a forest, examining some ruins. When they don't give her the clues she's hoping for, she kicks a tree in frustration and yells out in pain. The human Gareth (Eclectric) hears her shout and rushes over, thinking she's in trouble. When he realizes she isn't, he offers to go with her and help her with her quest. At this point, Kauka the mermaid (me) walks in on them and tries making friends with them, immediately earning her the irritation of Evrona.
Outside, Arielli hears voices. Gilantias enters the forest to investigate, followed by Wodahny. Evrona notices Gilantias quickly and forces him to show himself. Mano'kai (Siranae), another mermaid, approaches Iah and Arielli to ask if they know where a body of water is. Iah tells her he doesn't know, and the three meet up with the others. Inha (Flora's dwarf) pops out of a tunnel, overhears Evrona arguing with Gareth over the topic of chivalry, and hides behind Wodahny upon seeing Gilantias. Evrona spots a book that Gilantias had, reads it, and mentions having found a lead, and that those present (Gareth, Kauka, and Gilantias) would "have to do" in helping her find out more. Gareth spots Wodahny hiding behind a tree and challenges her to explain why she was being suspicious.

So far, those we haven't met are:
Ar'roc (Eclectric's Di'zai), who's apparently bathing himself in fire.
Zilli (Aquanta's half-demon), who's moving through a forest "with great speed," likely the same forest everyone else is in.

Those who haven't yet appeared are:
Martris Dawnwalker (Doodleshark's elf)
Devfizaffricoradomiicazsitaruqaeraa AKA (Dark Gentleman's demon)
Er'tas Illuin (Luquos' Balanced)

Dragons.... I'd rather stay away from them. They do exsist... but the other races haven't interacted with them for centuries (and vice versa), and it'd be kinda weird traveling around with a dragon. (oh, and yes, you can join)

One can be an ElementCrafter and a magic user, it's just that to be exceedingly good at one, you're really bad at the other (or just can't use the other entierly, not uncommon). For example, Elli is a very good magic user, but her AirCrafting is limited to flying (and she's really bad at it at that).

And, since I'm making a post, why not talk more about the fabulous world of Azuri? Whoo!

Magic. You've got dark, light, and neutral. Demons use dark, angels use light, and everyone else uses neutral! However, there are exceptions. A human (for example) can make a pact with a dark sprit (or light (or even neutral)) allowing them to use dark magic (or light (or just stronger neutral)). Not really reccomended, though, 'cos the usual price from a spirit is a portion of your soul . Maybe you can find a generous spirit. Not likely, but, possibly possible. Possibly.

So, light and dark magic is affected by day and night. Before the spirits came to Azuri, there was no day and night. Don't ask me how that works, it just does because I said so. The spirits of the light rely on the power of the sun, so light magic is stronger during the day and dark magic is weaker. The spirits of the dark rely on the power of the moon, making dark magic stronger during the night and light magic weaker. Neutral magic... is just kinda there. Sprits that belong to neither side.

Darn. I wanted to be something that wasn't humanoid, or at least couldn't turn into a human. Is there anything that I can be that isn't a griffin? Neo's already a griffin and I want the cast of this RP to be diverse.

This is a huge massive list of various creatures from mythologies all over the world. You could skim down that (or do what I did and get a headache actually reading it all) and pick out something that sounds interesting. oo
This is where I read about Selkies, which resulted in Akaku being one. I'd assume you'd have to run the species you want past SK first, though.

Yeah, just go ahead and look through. Sorry, but no dragons for you. I'm open to having a bunch of other random stuff, but I've already got dragons in this world, and it just wouldn't fit to have a dragon character.

I'd like to add another character^^

Name: Myrddin

Gender: Male

Age: 129

Species: Human

Appearance: He appears to be in his early 40's. He has a short blond goatee and black eyes that turn red when using specially powerful magic. He wears a black, tattered fur cloak and carries a wooden staff with a ruby set in it.

Abilities: He can wield powerful dark magic, including but not limited to the summoning of spirits. However, he made a pact with a spirit to wield this power, and at the time he didn't know that the spirit would possess him. He uses will power to fight off the spirit's possession, but it's more difficult to at night, and most difficult while using dark magic. The spirit has stopped giving him power, due to his resistance, so he's drawing on the reserve of magic the spirit gave him initially. That's also the only thing still keeping him alive, so essentially, to use magic he must draw from his own life force and risk being overpowered by the spirit.

On another note, Luquos, please indicate whether you are still going to participate in this roleplay, because if you are not, White_Samurai and Eclectric can figure out who gets the covered purple text color. This also goes for all you others who haven't posted yet (excluding Doodleshark, since he has recently posted here in the OOC; I assume he'd only do so if he were still interested).

I would also like to suggest that Eclecteic bring his angel and Di'zai back into the picture before adding someone new. Entering characters and then not using them seems a tad pointless to me.

I have read this carefully. I just forgot that purple was the color you and WS were talking about before. Secondly, I plan for them to meet up later, along with this new character. It'd be kind of lame if everyone just gathered all at once 'by chance' wouldn't it? I made this new character to add more diversity to the character pool. Your outburst is completely uncalled for. I thank you for telling me about the purple text color, but I do not, nor does anyone else, appreciate outbursts over petty things. I personally don't like it when people put me in a position where I have to explain myself for this or that. Don't jump to assumptions about things like my other characters because it forces me to do that.
And trust me, Mandi, if this small little error is the most annoying thing you've endured, you're very very lucky. Every day I deal with drama and pain and bleakness, and your outburst here is yet another thing for the collection of such things. Think about how your outburst gets on other people's nerves. Had you just said 'Eclectric wrong text color' I would have said ok and changed it, very simple. Instead you're making this a dramatic issue and I don't have patience to spare for thousands of little things like this; the big things are more than enough. Sorry for chewing you out but you struck a nerve.
