Yeah... if you don't want somebody to be in the Prime Minister, you could just, you know, vote against their party in the election. Chances are that if he isn't elected again his party will try and replace him with a different leader.

Well, considering we tried to have Andrew Johnson, Nixon, and Clinton impeached and convicted by a long and arduous process means that we're stuck with the president for a full 4 years. I mean, if Bush was your PM, then you'd probably get rid of him much quicker.

Still, I don't see why he got such low ratings. Congress proposed all those laws and agreed whole heartedly to go to Iraq and investigate WMD and all that stuff.

Anyway, I've often heard from some people(read: my mom) that many a British person has horrible teeth. Is this true?

This is one of the most annoying stereotypes about Brittan. God, some do have bad teeth, but so does every other country. Our dental care is excellent.

That's what I've been trying to tell her! But no, she won't listen to me. She thinks that everyone in Britain have bad health care like the one she say's we're going to have soon if Obama has his way. I love her, but she can be so ignorant sometimes.

Right, the heath care in this country is FREE FOR ALL, there are also private clinks to, like America, but the UK’s NHC is free medical heath care to a very high degree. There is no “I’m sorry but your insurance doesn’t cover this” or “I’m sorry but we can’t treat you because your insurance has expired.” The only thing that does bother me is the post code lottery. Certain areas can’t get certain treatments on the NHCs.

The whole system is government funded. The NHC is always being called in the media, but they saved my Dad's life and took care of him when he was very sick. I have nothing but praise for them.

Theres this Simpsons episode where the dentist is trying to get a kid to brush his teeth, so he shows him 'The Big Book of British Smiles'. :P

Do you have theses Smarties in England?

Image

They're common in Canada, and I know they aren't available in America, but are they available in England?

Yep, we have loads of those. In every shop...never seen them in bags like that before though...

We get them in round tubes

America has them. Though they are in the pic that shauni posted. I've had the candy before. Been awhile though since I don't buy candy all the often anymore.
