Soon? It's TOMORROW! AGH! O_O

I'm glad to hear that there's heat waves on up there though. I'll be welcomed by a little bit of home^^

Actually it's been fairly warm here too. Which is strange cuz it's winter. Better than cold though^^

Hi! Sorry about my absence yesterday. See, first I had class. Then I went to the water park with my mom, brother, and brother's friend. Then I had to help my mom with her phone. When I finally got back to my place I had school work to do and also go rather distracted trying to get some custom backgrounds and ringtones onto my new phone. Backgrounds were easy enough, ringtones were both easier and more difficult than my old phone. See, I can use "sounds" for ringtones, and sounds are easy to put on the phone, but sounds aren't true ringtones, so you can't use them for everything and only certain file types work. Getting real ringtones (without buying them) was a pain but I finally did it (and wasted way more time than I should have in the process, seeing as I still have lots of school work to do... Speaking of which, I might not get a chance to update Portal Panic or Misadventure or do any other RP type posts today either. But I'll be able to catch up on everything sometime tomorrow.

Hey.

Had friends over to play Risk today. Our 1st game (mission mode), I was doing good, but one of my friends was really bad at Risk (it wasn't like he was unlucky or anything, he was actually getting really good rolls and survived longer than he should've), so he lost early and one of my other friend's mission was to defeat him, so that game ended in an hour-ish. Our second game... I was so unlucky, it was insane. I was left fortifying my last territory (Mongolia), and had just taken Kamchaka when my friend had to leave (it was his Risk set, mine is really old and annoying), so he took the game and left.

Then, me and the remainder of my friends played Rock Band :D

Tomorrow is the Camp Gottalikachallenge get together. I am SO EXCITED. The Gotta Camp kids are such a great group... I wish I could have spent more than one year at my camp. I feel so bad for my friend. This is his first time in... 4 or 5 years that he won't be going to Gotta Camp, and he's really upset about it.

Last day of camp tomorrow :O. Summer is almost over... only a couple weeks left....

Hi Josiah!
You don't have to apologize, though you show your integrity by doing so^^ Welcome back:D

o hai! I arrived in Windsor yesterday and I got to see my Grandma and aunts who I hardly ever see 'cos they live over four hundred miles away, which was nice. Also we ate at Montana's and I had a tasty sandvich that was basically a chesesteak on garlic bread. T'was yummeh.

Hey.

Seeing all of the Gotta Camp kids was amazing. I had such a fantastic time. I love all of them, they're such great kids. I'm so sad I can't go to camp this year :( . Stupid age limits...

I feel worse for my friends, though, that had been going a few years, and now can't go. Last year was my first year (thought I sooooo wish I had learned about Gotta Camp earlier) and my last year. It makes me very sad :(

Well, anywayz, after the get-together, I went over my friend's house (he had been at the get-together) along with a couple other people to play Risk. Unlike last time, I wasn't crazy unlucky. One of my friends was, though. Well, that and my other friend was crazy lucky. Like, he should have been sooooooo dead. He would have been dead soon, but it was too late and we had to leave. I was doing good :D

Youth Group was amazing! Next month I'm going to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald house for the church, looking forward to it. I'm also sooo looking forward to the Youth trip in September, too bad some of my friends can't go and neither can my gf... T_T

But anyways, check the Samurai Saga, it only has 2 people in it. D:

...From visiting family in Windsor! Eight-hour drives suck, especially if one of those eight hours is spent on a freeway in Toronto... *Shudders.*

Well I'm not in Australia anymore. I'm not in Canada yet either though. I'm currently chillin' in Seattle until Kev's Mum arrives to take us home. It's a nice place and I've only met nice people so far, which is fortunate considering the stress I was under coming into the city.

I've realised that planes CAN be fun, but taking off and landing are not good experiences. Landing after the second plane ride was excruciatingly painful for my ears. Also, sitting in pretty much the same spot for over 16 hours is not easy.

At least the food on the plane was good.. and the entertainment. And now I'm in another country on the other side of the world! Squee. Actually it only really hit me once I got to Seattle an I got in the cab... and the steering wheel was ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE CAR! :-o

Also everyone here has a funny accent^^ It would be weirder, I reckon, if Australian TV wasn't so full of American shows though.

So anyway, off to adventure and explore some more^^

OH! I also petted a sniffer dog in LA, saw a bunny yesterday and... and... the nature here is so much different^^ I mean not everything wants to kill you! it's great! :-D

Only in America Astral. Only in America. I hope you've brought warm clothes, because in about a month or two, it's going to get cold.

Hi! You know, Astral. Since it was Americans who invented the car, we have the steering wheel on the correct side. It's places like Austrailia, the UK, and Japan that are doing it wrong. :-P Also, keep in mind that to us you're the one with the accent. Personally, I just can't bring myself to see American English as having an accent. It just seems like the plain unaccented form when compared to other countries' English... Though the UK did have English first so I can if anyone can truely claim their accent as "official" English, it's them.

Well, I'm off to write a nice long paper. On the up side, it's the last of my final projects so it'll be nice to have it done (still have a few classes and a couple Japanese tests though).

Speaking of accents, my sister claims that my Mandarin Chinese has an "American" accent. I can't tell the difference, aside from certain word usages that would be correct in English, but are incorrect once translated literally into Chinese. I consider those more speech pattern than accent, though. She only brought it up after our trip to China and Taiwan, and when I mentioned it to my parents, they were like, "Not really."
So no idea what's going on there.

Konnichiwa. I spent my last long plane ride (LA to Beijing) either asleep, eating, reading, or worrying about my mom being airsick. The return trip from Beijing to LA was spent either completely asleep or eating. Yeah. Wasn't too exciting.
I actually really like watching take-offs and landings. Whenever I get a window seat, I'm glued to it for the duration of both. Our plane from Shanghai to Taipei took off when it started drizzling, so the water made these really thin streams over the window. It looked rather pretty.

I think it's more of a slur between certain words...? I'm not sure, but sometimes apparently I have an "accent" too. According to those relatives in Taiwan, anyway.
