Yeah. There's going to be a Dante's Inferno video game coming out. Looks like it'll play just like God of War, except instead of playing Kratos you play as Dante, wielding a cross that knocks back enemies and a scythe that hacks, slashes, and causes general mayhem. I'm a fan of the epic myself so I'm really unsure whether to like this or not - I really hope it doesn't make the Divine Comedy look bad.

No idea how close it's going to be to the actual book. I haven't read the original yet (it's on my list) but I'm pretty sure Dante didn't do a whole of fighting... That said, I've kinda been ignoring the game since it's such a blatent God of War rip-off.

Well I haven't read Purgatorio and Paradisio, but the closest Dante gets to fighting in Inferno is giving someone the cold shoulder!
And yeah, I might buy it when the price crashes on it just to see how badly they've butchered it, but for now I'll stick to the book.

Haha, wooow. We read bits of it in World Civ. Sounds... interesting.
May the Triforce be with you.
