My summer so far.
1. Getting yelled at by my mom for not reviewing chemistry/physics/sleeping too late/playing games too much/being on the computer too much/not helping around the house enough
2. Being on the computer too much, talking to friends over IM and Skype, playing Mabinogi
3. Reading Mercedes Lackey
4. Sleeping
5. Drawing
6. Occasionally going on outings with friends
7. Trying half-heartedly (or not even that much) to find an internship or job

...Yeah. Not much going on.

Freaking out.

Turns out my dad had a stroke today. It was really scary stuff, he couldn't move his right arm or speak at all. We got him to the hospital right away and it looks like he's doing better now, he has control over his arm again and he can speak a little (even if it is really slurred and strained).

On an up note, I got an email saying my application for a student loan was approved!

But he's better now and actually better than ever cuz the doctors made him quit smoking after it. I hope things turn out the same for your Dad.

Yeah, he's doing a bit better now, my sis and I are going to go see him as soon as she's ready (so about an hour). Actually my dad's has a heart attack too. He needed a triple bypass so now he's got these brutal scars down his arms and one leg from where they took his veins or arteries or whatever, he looks suicidal because of them

Rain. Rain. SO MUCH RAIN! It's been raining SOOO much lately. If there was no rain, today would be my 4th softball game. Instead, I haven't had a single softball game yet. GAH!

Ultimate is also probably gonna get cancelled. Earlier, I hoped it would get cancelled 'cos it's the first one and I had to go to softball (Summer Leauge Ultimate isn't as big a deal as softball) instead. Softball's already be cancelled, and unless it miraculously clears up, Ultimate will be cancelled, too. They can play after it rains (whereas softball fields will be destroyed from earlier rain), but it's thundering out (though I have yet to actually see any lightning). I still hope it gets cancelled, 'cos I probably won't be able to go anyways due to me being on pain meds and needing to lie down a lot 'cos of the whole wisdom teeth ordeal.

I don't mind rain here and there... but GAH! TOO MUCH RAIN! It's becoming obnoxious.

I've got some friends coming over later for Munchkin. It'll be fun. But first, graphic design work for my dad. Oh, and I got new pots. Because Mercola pots are a rip-off and don't last. In the 10 months I've had them, I've already had two break on me.

Hey.

Weird stuff. I was just talking to my best friend over gmail, and I kinda just suddenly broke down right infront of him (well, at least virtually so, since we weren't actually standing next to each other). I was keeping a lot more bottled up than even I thought.

It was an interesting experience to say the least, and I kinda ended up crying. Not sure the last time I cried when I wasn't in physical pain, and even then it's been a while.

Right about now, I feel like I'm a total nutcase. Everything just kinda spilled out, and I realized that I have some crazy as hell issues. That and I feel... empty, almost. It's... really weird. Never felt quite this way.

Well, at least it's nice to know that my friend will be there for me, whether I'm crazy or not. That's reassuring. He was really helpful, more helpful than I imagine I'd ever be.

But... yeah... I'm crazier than I thought, in a not-so-good way. Who'da thunk it? Keeping stuff bottled up for years and years without telling anyone anything: not the greatest plan. 'Cos when it does break free... yeah, you end up like I'm feeling right now. Tired (not just 'cos it's late), empty, lost, and the need to just curl up in a corner and fall asleep. 's all new stuff to me. I wish he was here to give me a hug... he gives good hugs.

Ugh that sucks, sorry to hear that Saber. I know totally what ya mean, I'm an introvert (I bottle up) too. For what it's worth, *hugs*.

I did the same thing last year Saber. And It was a friend I hadn't known for very long and I only knew online that I spilled to.

And now he's my boyfriend and we're very happy XD.

Except his stuff (and his friend's) is scattered over the floor in my room (that is if I have a floor anymore cuz I can't see it) along with my sister's stuff, a little of mine and some boxes I'm going to pack the stuff I'm not taking with me in before I move. Oh god the clutter >.<

I really want to clean right now and get my stuff packed. If I can actually get into it It shouldn't take TOO long. Just right now it's school holidays so I have 3 younger siblings in the house, their friends from across the road (who are so annoying that yesterday I actually felt violent towards them to the point where I had to leave the house) and the boys from Canada.

At this very moment I'm trapped by a box set up for a webcam yugioh duel and I can't get to clean this place up.

...This feels like it needs to go in the rant thread haha. Right now I wish I didn't have to go to work tonight so I can stay and clean up.

Whether it was a result of my breaking apart last night or 'cos of my wisdom teeth meds, I slept in 'til 10:00 today. I don't think I've ever done that before. Maybe, and only maybe when I was sick, but even then. And... it was a dreamless sleep, which doesn't happen to me much anymore. I usually wake up, think "oh, that was a cool dream", then forget it a few minutes later. There are plenty of times where I just remember bits and pieces, sometimes more. But, today, I woke up not remebering a thing, so I don't think I even had a dream.

Introvert, eh? I wasn't aware there was a word for it. Nifty. I always like to add words to my vocabulary.

Well... I'm gonna be home all alone again today, and, go figure, all I'm doing is waiting for my friend to come back online so I can resume talking to him. Meh.

Yesterday was fun. I had four friends over and we played Muchkin, watched anime, talked about games, and stuff like that. Stayed up a lot later than I should have though so I'm running kinda late today, if you can really run late on a day when you technically don't have to do anything. Meh, whatever. Break is nice, even if it's only for a few days. Speaking of which, I really should look up a good place to go see fireworks on the 4th...

Also, it's the anniversary of the forums! Well, the "new" forums anyway. Though they're only new so much as they weren't the original PV forums and, of course, the "new forums" have changed to phpBB and were then upgraded and all that. But yeah, happy anniversary! I think Silver, Shauni, and I are the only ones who have been around pretty much the entire time, but a lot of you guys have been around for quite a long time anyway and there's been some great new members over the last year too. I'm glad this place has managed to keep a consistantly great group of people around, even as some have left and others have joined over time. Originally I only made forums for PV because some fans really wanted them, I didn't really care. But I'm really glad I went ahead and made the forums and got a chance to meet everyone here.
