Hi everyone^^

... wow I really thought I had something more to say.

I really want to get some false nails. I'll never grow them by just painting them and now they feel funny because of the polish. Blah, stupid horrible habit... any suggestions on how to stop biting my nails?

Hi! Personally, now that I don't ever need any more math for school, I plan to do my best to avoid anything beyond algebra 1 and basic geometry. Not because I'm not good at it (I am pretty good, or at least was when I remembered all the formulas), but because I really dislike it.

Oh, check out this movie I made as the final project for my Game Aesthetics class. It's a rapid prototype concept movie. As in, a quick movie put together using whatever appropriate images are handy to get across the basic concept of a game/story idea. Unfortunately I had to compress it a lot to get it on the internet so it got a bit blurry (and the file size is still bigger than it should be) but it still come out decently.

Neat game concept, Josiah. It would be an interesting twist to control characters with a dance pad rather than with a controller. That's what that circle thing represented, right? You're right, the text was a little fuzzy in some places, but it was still readable. Anyway, nice job.

Poik, if you made a thread on psych I'd definitely post. Josiah, that looks pretty cool! Reminded me of a mix between Final Fantasy and Persona ('cept without the whole shooting thing...still a bit weirded by that).

Also, I'm finally home! ;-D I now have access to my ps3 and Wii (with SSBB) for the next four months and wireless for both, so if anyone wants to co-op or battle, I'm set!

Interesting idea. I don't DDR, but if I did I would give it a try.

I dunno how to solve it. I thought there may be a solution because you can input various numbers in and solve for the other one. But I keep getting stuck.
Also I tend to find ways to integrate (ha, math pun) math into my random games. Usually trig.

And I have shin splints. No running for 2-3 weeks... Great.

Well specifically, I have an idea for an case study on morals. There's only thus far been experiments on the development of them, but I wanted to test pre-made morals. I think there's not much research on it because most people believe morals are black and white, and that their right and everyone else is wrong. This thought seems to be universal, belonging to "sociopaths" and "normal" people (whatever normal is).

Oi.
Hmm... This signature just got really short...

Aaah the ultimate universal lie. This one phrase "I'm right and you're wrong" makes no sense to me since EVERYBODY is right AND wrong at the same time... That's why I don't believe in any one religion, but I feel they ALL have something positive to offer.

But then again maybe I'm just weird^^

Thre is no black and white only shades of grey... actually grey doesn't have a wide enough spectrum... the whole of existence is rainbow coloured^^

I agree with astral.

Anyway,I got an invitation the the leadership seminar summit thing in D.C.

I do not wish to go because I believe going is for future politicians. I'd rather be a voice actor. Thus, I ain't going and it'd take an act of congress to force me to go.

Also... My dad and I were talking this morning and he got off about something that he heard at work about a divorce and the couple filing for it argued about NASCAR memorabilia. This brought the following statement:
You might be redneck if your divorce decree dictates custody over the Dale Earnhardt collection.
This is my RP Forum, Tales of Symphonia Adventures, or ToSA for short. Please take a look?

Use Nail clippers. It may sound like a sarcastic answer, but that's actually how I stopped biting my nails. The more you use clippers, the less biting you're urged to do, because there are no nails TO bite, because you already clipped them short.

Also if anyone's interested, I'm gonna be leaving for New Orleans this Wednesday. (I think) Gonna go with my Uncle Johnny to Jazzfest.

Wow sorry Astral, forgot to mention the nail thing! My sister used to bite her nails all the time, so she'd specifically put on this polish that tasted absolutely terrible so that she wouldn't want to.

Hi! Have fun on your trip, Atma.

Astral... "I'm right and you're wrong." can be a perfectly valid statement at times. For example, if you said that the moon is made of cheese and I said that it isn't, I could confidently say, "I'm right and you're wrong." :-P But on the issue of morals... Despite differing beliefs between cultures, religions, and the like, there are some things that pretty much everyone agrees are wrong such as theft, incest, and murder (though the definition of that one varies significantly). Personally, I question the whole "every religion has something good" line. I'd probably be ok with "most religions have something good" but "every" would include some seriously screwed up religions (cults, for example). That said though, while that I think Bhuddism (for example) has some nice traits, I think they've totally wrong about a lot of things. But getting back to the whole black and white moral spectrum, which is where I was going with this in the first place... If there is a supreme god (as believed by all the major religions (well, kinda with Bhuddism)) then you can't say that everything is morally gray because said god's definition of morals are absolute. What he says is good to do is right and what he says is bad is wrong. That still leaves room for gray (since no scriptures spell out exactly what god wants do in every possible situation) but there's plenty of black and white to help define the gray.

IS EVERYONE GETTING THAT?! Seriously!

Hey.

In other news, I'm back from Virginia and have returned to good ol' Massachusetts. Long drive. But we got ice cream on the way. ;-D Goood ice cream. Mmmmmmmm.....

...math....Enriched Geometry....CALENDAR PROJECT!! AAAAUUUUUUUGGGGG.....

...which reminds me, when I posted the problems here, some of the answers that were given to me were wrong. Just felt like pointing it out, as it made me feel smrt when I figured out the correct answer. :P

...now I find myself taking out that Calendar Project. It looks pretty spiffy. All neat-like in a binder with plastic sleeves 'n' all. Nice little computer drawn graphics.

And, before leaving Virginia, I beat Super Mario Bros. again. Just to switch topics really fast, 'cos it's fun.

My dad also found the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat CD. Haven't listened to that in many years. I forgot how funny and random it is. I mean, they suddenly have a song with a Western theme, the Pharoah acts like Elvis, there is a random song where everyone has French accents and a Calypso song. Good musical, though. Elvis impersonation is....weird.

Blarg.....vacation went by way too fast.

Heso! Funny how that "I'm right and you're wrong" statement didn't work about the moon in Taming of the Shrew... much as I love Shakespeare, that play failed. Except for the frame story... which was never resolved. Anyway...

Yeah, Josiah, not everyone thinks incest is wrong. I personally find it to be squicky, but... Ouran High School Host Club? An act or otherwise, there are people that like the pairing. And I'm sure there are people that have no prblem with Theft or Murder, though example of that are harder to find... What those come down to, though, is that there are victims. If someone suffers because of it, then it is generally regarded as morally wrong; the criminals, though, may not necessarily feel that way.
"Irregardless" and "Over exaggerated" are NEVER CORRECT EVER because they are redundant
Regardless means "without regard", and adding "ir" on the front actually makes it a double negative; exaggerate means "to overstate" so you're literally saying "over overstate."
Example: I can not exaggerate the importance of this fact enough, regardless of how often people ignore it.

If I said "The moon is made of cheese" I would be correct, just not in THIS reality. I believe in the infinite alternate realities where everything even once imagined is real somewhere. Which means somewhere the moon is made of cheese, some places gods exist and some they don't. Whether or not the reality we are in is one with a God or several gods or whatever I don't quite know so I'm not going to comment on that.

And even the most messed up cults have soemthing of value. You just need to be able to look at it from the right angle. The main one I guess if all else fails is it makes the people involved happy.

*shrug* I don't know. Maybe my beliefs are weird, but there are always weirder ones right?

Well, considering that everyone thought that Luke and Leia were made for each other before finding out that they were brother and sister(after which they abandoned ship), incest is still pretty taboo.

In other news, my brother and I came bak from Best Buy. I got Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and my brother got Rune Factory and something on the DS to learn Japanese.
