Marley is right, BFC. You were a bit too early. Not that it really matters since there's no bonus for first post this year (sorry).
To answer Phonox's question, I will occasionally deem a post to spammy, poor quality, or whatever to count for a point. Though in this case, BFC's post was a little before the official start time so I don't need to make a decision on that either way.
