Global Warming my ass. It's still snowing outside. We've already got eight inches. Eight! It's supposed to snow untill 6 o'clock! I've never remembered this much snow, though I've been told that there was much more snow when I lived in Japan. But still, eight inches of snow, in the mid-south, during late winter. As I said earlier, Global Warming my ass.

Actually, the extreme snow this late in winter in the south could in fact be an effect of global warming, since global warming messes with air pressure in different ways, causing extreme weather, and not always neccesarily warm weather. So, your southern snow does not disprove the theory of global warming.

I'm going to see Watchmen opening night with my girlfriend. It will be a fantastic event, to be sure.

We were supposed to get snow, but we got nada.

Fweeee~

Saber is VERY happy right about now.

Me friend showed me how to get Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals (only released in Japan) on Visual Boy. After getting it, I played the first level in Japaneese (it was kinda amazing), but then he showed me how to English-ify it. So, now I've got the game in English, though there are a few things still left in Japaneese.

Yaaay! Now I have a new (well, not so new) Fire Emblem to play! YAAAAAY! Fire Emblem!!!

Now I can prolly wait a bit for my birthday to get FE: Shadow Dragon. HURRAY!

Just because I gave up TV Tropes for lent doesn't mean I can't talk about it.
Won't that make it way harder to give up?

Very nice! I'm planning on watching it too, but unless something suddenly happens it'll just be me and friends. It's going to be a great movie! ;-D

I've heard a lot about that movie, but I'm planning to read the comic before I watch it.

People last night were talking about getting snow. Yeah, right. Or so I thought. I woke up and saw there was a few inches on the ground. Yay!

I wish we could have snow like when I was a kid. There's pictures of us playing in like three feet of snow. Now were lucky if we get five inches. *sigh*

Hey! Doodle, you get lotsa snow, right? Any chance your school has a foreign exchange program? :-P

Hey! it snowed yesterday... alot. So I pretty much played around in it this morning, slipped and fell while bringing in groceries, so my knees , right hand and left side hurt... so yeah, I had a good weekend so far. Except for the slip-up. Also watched a Toxic Avenger Spin-off movie called Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD. It was a dumb movie, but it was so dumb it was funny.

Hi! Taking a break from homework today to catch up on e-mail, chores, and the like (plus anime club). I just heard that Konami Japan is going to be doing interviews at GDC (where I've going later this month). Not quite for my type of position, but I'm gonna send them an e-mail anyway, just in case.

Hi. I just got back from playing in the snow. I made this HUGE snowball, and there was about a foot or more of snow on the trampoline. I broke up the giant snowball because it became too heavy for me to push and because there was a lot of mud on it and it just looked ugly. Also, the dogs had a good time playing in the snow. Zelda had a lot of snow clumped on her legs, and Zoe was looking for her toy. Man, I bet there's going to be no school tomorrow. Even though the snow on the road has already melted, it's still wet/slushy and then it will freeze tonight. Oh man, I love snow. I might just move up north so I can get some snow. Of course, by then I'll be paying bills, getting a job, and shoveling the drive-way so I go to work.

I'm a Canadian, quite used to looking out the window at a frozen wasteland - *Coughs* I mean, all that great snow outside! Made a Costco run today, we didn't get as much stuff but it was still pretty dang heavy (My friend is allergic to something in the water here, so he has to get those huge flats of bottled water). Ah well, I got restocked on Cheerios so I'm happy ;-)

Hey.

Well, apparently the snow here was delayed. It snowed all day. Currently, it's at a lull, but we're supposed to get like 6 inches tonight and 8 inches tomorrow.

So....SCHOOL ALREADY GOT CANCELLED! WHOOT!

Or at least the official website says. But I still have yet to talk to the voice recording that calls us. I'm waiting for that bit before I get fully excited.

So, at youth group today we looked at gifts. Apparently, there's a passage in the Bible (I think it was in Corinthians) that talks about these 10 God-given gifts, and each person is supposed to excel in one. Well, we took a quiz to find out which one we excelled in. On the question sheet, you put a 2 next to statements that definatly describe you 1 for a maybe/don't know/somewhat and a 0 for doesn't describe me. Then, you added up the points from certain questions. Like, for example, for the Gift of Evangelism you added up points from 1, 11, 22, 3, 45, 55 and 61. Well, apparently my top two gifts are Giving and Faith, which surprised me. Of course, this quiz probably means nothing, but still.

The quiz also said that if you had a score of 1-4 on a gift, you were "probably not gifted" in that area, 5-8 meant moderatly gifted and 9 or more meant highly inclined. My lowest was a 5 in The Gifts of Tongues, Healing and Miracles (one whole gift). So, I'm moderatly skilled in healing and miracles. :D Go me.
May the Triforce be with you.

Bleh... I wish school for me got cancelled after 6 inches. Last year Ottawa got over four meters of snow total and my school only closed when freezing rain made road conditions too dangerous to run the buses. Curse you $62 million snow-removal budget...
