All right, I've disected the character list for better accuracy. I already know that myself, MK, Josiah, Silver, and Aquanta are all still decently active. But those who appear to have dropped off are, and correct me if I am mistaken: Neo Zanther, Shans, and Stevenson, who never got around to making a single post with his only character. So here is what I propose.

Stevenson's character, Ayumu, is now an NPC who can be claimed by anyone who wishes to use her. However, if Stevenson should return and he wants her back, then she must be given back to him.
- Diruk, Ayumu (Non-aligned Ronin/NPC)

Shans does this every time. He disappears after getting heavily involved in an RP's plot. I blame him for Bleach's unexpected and slow death. But that aside, both of the Katsura siblings are now going to be NPCs. If Shans returns, then they are still his to use as active characters. However, I'm not going to hault the RP just for them. Tough luck.
- Katsura, Yuji (Non-aligned Ronin/Shinsengumi???/NPC)
- Katsura, Isumi (Non-aligned Mage/Shinsengumi???/NPC)

Now, Neo Zanther's part in all this is really complicated because, as Silver mentioned, he created the demon subplot for this RP. I don't really want to count him out just yet... But he's failed to reply even once in our RP battle since the Time Warp incident and that is a bit discouraging. However, since I have no true idea where he was headed with his plot, I feel I'm not qualified to keep it going in his absence. Besides, I already have three characters of my own to manage, as well as the three Commanders of the Shinsengumi. So for the time being, I'll just list his characters as inactive NPCs. That way, not too much will get messed up.

I still have my demon, Gil, and there are other Choushuu and enemies to deal with, so we're not without villians and antagonists. Besides, if we're in need of them, we can make more up as NPCs.

However, I do not wish to recruit new players or characters. I'm tired of people joining and then faultering off shortly afterwards. I will, however, fight tooth and nail to ensure that this RP survives it's first year here.

Now, if there are any objections to what I have decided to do in terms of the characters, then please tell me and I shall try to reach a compromise. I am sorry if I sounded mean, but sometimes a girl just has to lay the verbal smack down.

P.S. A beloved family pet recently passed away on Jan.23 at 4 AM in the morning and... I still haven't gotten over it, and am still a bit out of it. I apologize if I've been harsh here, please forgive me...

Going off of that, I suggest we quickly get some new story arc going. We'll say Neo's demon group is kinda watching at waiting at this point. Meanwhile, the rest of us can deal with the new villians and problems said new story arc will involve. If Neo still hasn't come back after that concludes, we can make his guys NPCs and run the demon plot however we want to run it.

So, now let's figure out a basic setup for the new story arc and run with it. I'm open to suggestions, and Artemis gets the final say, but I was thinking something with some political intrigue. Maybe a plot by a rogue shinobi faction to replace important government figures with imposters, or something like that.

So very sorry about not posting. I blam MMO's for this lack of activity. I do think i'll start being more active in the fourms in general once I acutally go grab a keyboard for my wii since i'm always surfing the web while playing WoW but i'll try and be more active now :)

We could always try whatever e-mail address is in his profile. Last I'd heard he started playing WoW, which is rather known for killing all forms of a social life...

ya, that is sadly the case with the game, though I still go out and participate in Yu-Gi-Oh! turnaments at the local mall on weekends, so it hasn't killed my social life, though even before I started playing WoW when i joined the military I never had much of a social life to kill.

I approve of this idea. Since Josiah thought of it, it's his plot to run. He can set it up and start it whenever he has the time to. Meanwhile, I'll pester MK into doing something with Nyrock, since he hasn't yet brought him in. I can also have Gil go out and cause a public disturbance or something, if there's a need for it. On another note, I am feeling much better...
